called the NEST helpline and this is what they told me.
okay, so as my centre was 400 km away, i decided to call their helpline number to at least enquire.
I contacted the helpline regarding this issue, but the response I received was dismissive. I was told that "everyone's centre is far." respectfully, the fact that multiple students may be facing inconvenience does not make the concern less valid. students raising genuine issues should be met with clarity and professionalism rather than casual dismissal.
i genuinely request everyone to email them nest-exam@niser.ac.in about their centre complaints, maybe a mass complaint can help them.
ps: I have no direct train or bus to the centre allotted, and it wasn't even on my preference list. also?? my friend who lives in Chattisgarh got her centre in Himachal Pradesh.
