r/Netlify

Netlify is acting crazy!!! It takes down my website (free plan) – suspends, no notification over email, no reasons mentioned in Netlify.

Is is normal for Netlify, or I might be doing something wrong?

Netlifty Pricing/Creds are out of control, bandwidth is expensive.

I keep hearing about these old plans, and out of curiosity I'd like to know what changed.
This credit system seems a bit expensive. The Bandwidth particularly.
But then you get hit with Web Request AND compute.. so each site visit touches 3 levels of your credits.. bandwidth, web requests and compute so it easely drains your credits of a Pro account.

I coudl selfhost, and I suspect that I'll end up doing just that... but for now I prefer to pay for the piece of mind as long as the cost are controlled.

Anyhow, Im curious, how exactly were the old plans?

This team has exceeded the bandwidth limit for the Free plan warning message

Im on the free plan and last month I some how exceed my bandwidth and my site got paused. Its never happens in the history of my plan, but maybe my traffic is getting larger. So I setup caching for my site. My site is now unpaused but Im still getting the warning and my form submission do not appear to be working. I sent a message to support on 7/31 on the site bandwidth issue but have not yet received a response.

Thanks for all you guys are doing I know you guys might be overwhelmed right now with AI spam related issues so Im just hoping to figure it what is happening.

The Ticket ID is #1083042. Thanks for any support you can offer.

swindled out of my grandfathered account

massive fan of netlify for years and have been nervous about the recent changes which were to be expected eventually (investors always want their revenue raised) but my projects and account remained unchanged the whole time until the other day i had a deployment error so i clicked the red "what causes this" button and was then swindled into "upgrading" (downgrading) my account to the new version that has all of these ai integrations that run you out of monthly credits.

before i completely jump ship and start migrating my projects to cloudflare or elsewhere though, is this going to impact all of my projects? will i run into issues with these newer accounts? the free tier has always been super generous to me and my traffic so thats what im nervous about being changed now that my account has been updated to a different type

DDOS attack with too much Bandwidth use and no response from Support

Approx 700 million request hit Netlify in 24 hours

All request bypassed CF and Netlify DDOS protections.

Due to Cloudflare 908 GB (90%) cached request I got saved from whooping bill but still I am over my free bandwidth Quota.

Was expecting Netlify support would help me with this DDOS bandwidth relaxation.
