Help- How Likely is it That I Cracked the Chassis?

Recently picked up this very well kept FM2n, and went to put a PD plate on the bottom. Needless to say, I had a Lenny moment, and overtightened it a bit.

What are the chances I cracked the chassis, based on how bent out the bottom plate is? I have a set of Vessel JIS screwdrivers, but the bottom plate screws dont want to give up, and I dont want to risk stripping them.

I'm trying to decide if its worth it to open it up to check, or even take it to a repair shop to have checked, or if I'm likely OK. I was hoping to use this with an MD-12, and obviously hiking on a PD capture clip, so the tripod mount is unfortunately pretty critical for my intended use cases (not that I'm unique there, especially shooting film), so I need to see if this is now a no-tripod camera

New to me Nikon FM2 - motor drive - interesting mistake

So I shit the first test roll with the $100 Nikon fm2 using cinestill 800. I noticed once I had shot the roll the frame counter read 32 not 36. I popped the back like an idiot and realized the roll was still exposed. Regardless. I’m doing a second roll of cheaper stuff this evening I think. Ended up with some interesting double exposure stuff. I imagine a CLA is in the near future. Thanks for having me here guys.
