Hallo zusammen!

Ich bin 28 (m) und suche Leute aus Magdeburg, die Lust haben, regelmäßig zusammen Sport zu machen.

Ich bin für alles Mögliche offen, wie zum Beispiel:
Schwimmen, Tennis, Squash, Padel, Bouldern, Badminton, Fahrradfahren, oder weitere Sportarten.

In einigen Sportarten bin ich noch Anfänger, während ich in anderen schon etwas fortgeschritten bin. Für mich steht vor allem die Aktivität im Vordergrund, neue Bekanntschaften zu schließen und zusammen Spaß beim Sport zu haben - das Niveau der Leistung ist da zweitrangig.

Ich spreche hauptsächlich Englisch, also wäre es klasse, wenn ihr ein wenig Englisch könnt. Ich lerne auch Deutsch und freue mich, dabei zu üben. 😊

Falls es noch keine passende Gruppe gibt, würde ich gerne eine Whatsapp / Signal / Telegram Gruppe erstellen, um unkompliziert Sportverabredungen zu ermöglichen.

I’m looking to hear from other students who have also been admitted to OVGU

Hello, I stumbled across OVGU while doing my research of possible enrollment into universities for Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences (on English). From what I understood it’s a fairly new program there.

I am from Serbia, just finished secondary nursing school (4y), and I contacted uni-assist regarding this. They told me to go to Anabin, but I got the same results as I did on their site - “Direct subject-related admission”.
Personally I believe there are a lot of subjects I had that are related to Biomedical sciences, but it’s not my call to make, of course.

I maintained a perfect GPA of 5.00/5.00 throughout all four years of secondary school and achieves the same on my matura - final exams.

It wasn’t possible for me to apply earlier as I got my documents last week and got them translated into English.
The deadline is 15th of July.

What even are my chances of getting in?
Is it possible to send my documents by email so that they can check whether I’m eligible before I submit a formal application?
Honestly, a direct “no” would’ve been less disappointing than “Direct subject-related admission”, now I only have hope.

I'm an international applicant for the M.Sc. Data & Knowledge Engineering (DKE) program at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg for the Winter Semester 2026/27.

My timeline is:

• Applied through Uni-Assist
• Application forwarded to OVGU: 3 June
• Received OVGU portal login credentials: 9 June
• Current portal status: "In Progress"
• Request subject status: "Received"

I've seen that some applicants who received their login credentials on 9 June have already started receiving admission offers, while my application is still under review.

I'm trying to understand whether this is normal.

Could you please share:

• Is your application still showing "In Progress" or "Received"?
• Have you already received an admission or rejection?
• When was your application forwarded by Uni-Assist?
• When did you receive your OVGU login credentials?
• What is your approximate German GPA ?

It would be really helpful if everyone could share their timelines so we can understand how the admissions process is progressing.

Received uni assist "okay" status on 17th June and it's been radio silence since then. Has anyone received an update or admitted for this course? It's NC frei.
