Wat vinden we hiervan en wie moet het dan nu gaan doen?

Mijn persoonlijke (totaal onbelangrijke) voorkeur zou zijn een Nederlandse trainer, en dan kom je al snel uit bij Arne Slot of Peter Bosz. Als het maar iemand is die de boel weer aan de praat kan krijgen.

En natuurlijk de terechte felicitaties aan Marokko. Slappe hap afgestraft...

I have been scouring the internet for the past year to find a Quincy promes jersey and I have struck out each time. I know how this looks, I can already hear the questions asking why I would want his jersey, but I have been a fan of Quincy ever since that 2017-18 season he had in Russia and the absolute masterclass he put on that season. I have tried just about everything, vinted has been promising at times but I can never make an account on the Dutch vinted domain being an American with an American phone number. Anyway, if any of you have any leads for me I will pay serious money, I have a blank check written for QP Dutch national team jerseys that would be the gold mine but any jerseys from his career I am open too. I was ready to burn it all down after Morocco. A few days on, I think that's exactly the wrong lesson.

Look at what actually happened. We topped the group with ten goals and put five past Sweden.

This team is not short of talent — it's one of the deepest pools in the world. We didn't go out because the players failed. We went out because, in the one game it mattered, we lost our nerve, switched to a back five, handed Morocco the ball, and invited the pressure that knocked us out on penalties.

That's not a squad problem.

That's a courage problem.

So the fix isn't demolition. It's evolution — keep the spine, trust the kids, and never again take the handbrake off only when it's already too late.

Keep the spine. Van Dijk plays as long as he's willing — but used with intent. Lean on him for the hard games, manage his minutes in the routine ones, and make his real job mentoring the back line that replaces him: Timber, Van de Ven, Hato.

Frenkie wears the 🅒 on the pitch and dictates everything. Verbruggen's our keeper for a decade. Memphis isn't a starter anymore, but he's the voice you want on the bench at 2-2.

Trust the engine. Gravenberch and Reijnders next to Frenkie is a midfield that can run all day and progress the ball through any press. Xavi Simons walks back in once the knee's right — remember, his ACL meant we played the whole tournament without him.

And if you want a goal threat from deep, the right front-foot system could finally reignite Koopmeiners, who died on the vine in a cautious Juventus side.

Fix the system, not the names. High line, aggressive press, front-foot from minute one — and the spine to hold that shape when a knockout game gets tight. That, not the manager's CV, is what cost us.

Whoever takes the job — Koeman's future is still open — that's the brief: don't rebuild this team. Finish it. Give the kids the stage, keep the old heads in the room, and stop being afraid of our own quality.

Hey Dutchies. Moroccan expat here. I don’t have many moroccan friends here yet and the ones I know won’t be watching.
I like football and would like to watch it but in Utrecht the places I know are explicitly saying it will be all orange… from the music to the decoration so ofc the crowd.
So my question is: how do you guys view a moroccan guy with moroccan shirt in a cafe or venue where only dutch people are? Is it ok to celebrate if morocco scores ?

Ik ben Mexicaan, maar ik heb een paar jaar in Nederland gewoond. In die tijd ben ik echt fan geworden van Nederland, de mensen, de gezelligheid en natuurlijk het Oranjegevoel rond voetbal.

Ik heb een kaartje kunnen bemachtigen voor Nederland – Marokko aanstaande maandag in Monterrey, en ik zou het geweldig vinden om mee te lopen met de Oranje Walk / Oranje Fanwalk of aan te sluiten bij een openbare bijeenkomst van het Oranjelegioen vóór de wedstrijd.

Weet iemand of er al een officieel verzamelpunt, een route naar het stadion of een openbare pre-match gathering bekend is? Alle tips zijn welkom.

Ik kijk er nu nog meer naar uit om maandag de Oranje Walk mee te maken en samen met jullie Nederland te steunen.

Is er een plek in de randstad waar je Marokko-Nederland kan kijken? Niet echt een café waar alleen maar bier wordt gedronken en gegooid.
