Shaved my face every morning for 20 years before I could start getting electrolysis.

It’s like I’m living a new life, I look back at how my hair used to be and just stare and disbelief. I’ve gotten over 170 hours of electrolysis over the last five years, and it has changed my life!!

I wrote a book for you about my 170+ Hours of Electrolysis and PCOS ♥️

If you have questions about my experience, I’m hosting a live Q&A tomorrow night (Weds, June 24) at 8pm EST on my YouTube channel. Link in comments. These before&after photos as well as the text is a snippet from my PCOS/electrolysis book I wrote that comes out on the 4th of July! I’ve vlogged my entire electrolysis process since I started in 2021. Consider this an “electrolysis support night”, please join if you’re curious to talk with someone that’s been going over the span of 5 years with long term process and results. No limit to questions!

First adverse symptoms of my life, leg pain - got the right supplements and now I can sleep!

I’ve always had a symptom or two, but they were pretty inoffensive. No period for 10 years? Fine! Facial hair? I don’t have to look like a super clean professional in the construction industry; I’ll pluck it when I have time. But the last month? CRAZY leg aching pain waking me up pretty much every night. I’m definitely in chats with my doc to get a cyst scan and whatever other advice she has, but I took to this sub immediately to see what I could do just to be able to SLEEP. Many of y’all swore up and down by magnesium, so I reached out to my prescriber to get the right one, and thought I’d share his advice for anyone looking! Quote:

Supplements: Yes, I would recommend certain ones being;
-Magnesium GLYCINATE (not citrate) which can help with neuromuskular junctions and restorative properties. I would recommend using a product that does not have Melatonin combined with it. Based on the product, the dose range per night would be in the range of 100mg-400mg based on the product. I would recommend the brands of either "Thorne" or "Pure" because of their clean profiles although anything available from a local brick and mortar will also suffice (those brands can be a bit pricey).
-Methylated Folate -or- L-Methylfolate; this supplement helps enhance amino acid availability (protein building blocks) to make what we already ingest from nutrition to be more readily bio-available. The dose would start at 7.5mg for one month then increase to 15mg as maintanence after that.
=There are really no side effect concerns or adverse reactions of concern from these two supplements and I think they would offer benefit.

As for other medications; there are some available that may ease the physical and emotional state changes associated with PCOS/PMOS being either Celexa or Effexor.

End quote. I hope this post is allowed (re brand names) and I hope it helps someone as it did me! Definitely do your own research and talk to your own doc, of course.
