I was almost scammed by u/SROB88. I notified the mods of r/pmsforsale right away because this person was clearly acting weird. At first, I sent him $ via venmo but thankfully the venmo account didn't worked for them and I got refunded in full.

Then the person wanted to get paid via PayPal and I sent him a $1 for confirmation, both accounts same name and then I asked him to use a MM to which he replied "keep your money, I changed my mind and will be keeping the tube of Brits".

Very clever scam for OP with a lot of flair and active account. I will stay more vigilant and hope to use MM for future transactions.

Fyi: OP also deleted his original WTS post, made another WTS post 2 days later which also got deleted but then the MOds said it shouldn't have and reinstated it. I shared the proof of all of this with the mods and it has personal information so didn't want to share it here.

Unfortunately my first non-positive feedback I've had to leave.

To keep it simple, buyer u/Thy_Holy_Hand_Nade asked me to reserve 5 morgan silver dollars for him on Monday, and would send me payment on Wednesday. He asked for me to reserve them for him, which I did. I didn't receive any message from him on Wednesday, so I followed up that I can have them shipped out along with some other stuff, and he simply decides he doesn't want to follow through with the transaction. Buyer said he’s going to hold off. (No surprise, spot price went down a few bucks from Monday to Wednesday)

If you ask to reserve items, that means you intend on buying them. You cant just reserve items then decide you don't want them anymore!! Not cool behavior.
