Just a casual rant about my delulu dream casting. I would really love to see Maya and AAA in a project like idk why I can see a vision of them and wanted to know if theyve done any collabs together but no not even a bridal shoot regardless both of them in the industry for this long. Anybody else who can see a pair in them. I feel they would suit for a fanily drama and knowing that many actors and channels go through this sub I thought why not give them a thought👻
I would also love to see nameer and sajal as a pair they just wasted thier potential in MMNH
And who else you would like to see as a pairing (for the first time-not a repeat pairing fresh ones) where some feels impossible or you just have a vision
Khushbakht as we all know would fall for her slimey professor.
They will do nikah nd he will abandon her after physically using her, divorce.
Khushbakht comes from a welloff zameendaar family and her father - actor mehmood - loves her a lot.
With her betraying her family - as per pakistani writer's standards marrying off on your own choice is betrayal- she will get pregnant and her family will find out.
It will be a huge shame and this that and her parents who are well off will marry her off to some very ghareeb family that is, nadia afghan's son.
And then she will live a bad life with beatings and abuse.
Her father and family who had boycotted her will never contact her.
Maybe one day her father out of his love for his daughter will leave behind a home for her where she lives and doesn't wanna leave - i could be wrong abt this- but seeing her dad's giant portrait in her house ihad assumed he might have left it for her.
Weirdly, she shows her father's photos to her son by hanging them, but if asad malik is her brother why she never shares his photos with son?
Asad malik could be that one cousin who sinccerely loved her and was her original fiance that she abandoned for the professor or maybe her brother.
But she is sindhi and brother is 'malik?
Anyways, but key point will be she will be married into very poor family and will be making gobar patties/upplay thopna (scene in teasers) for her husband's poor family - a standard trope in umaira's dramas.
No sorry she is hard to tolerate. Brings nothing special to screen..if fair n pretty is standard nawal saeed is >>> durr e fishan then why should we watch her??
And no we don't give one minutest bit fuck to her army of media gaslighters so please calm down and go sit in a corner and shutup. Noone cares whatever ur opinions are.
This is audiences' court and they will decide and no amount of breathing her down others throats is gonna work.
There is something deeply disturbing about the way we speak about women in Pakistani politics and showbiz.
Whether it is Bushra Bibi, Maryam Nawaz, Benazir Bhutto, Maryam Aurangzeb, Kashmala Tariq, Mahira khan or any other woman in public life, people often move beyond political criticism and start abusing them, insulting their character, and making accusations about their private lives and alleged *haram* relationships.
You may disagree with a woman’s politics or showbiz. You may believe she should not be involved in politics or in media industry from an Islamic perspective. You may strongly criticise her policies, decisions or political conduct.
But none of that gives us permission to destroy someone’s honour without evidence.
Allah says:
“Those who accuse chaste women and do not produce four witnesses, flog them with eighty lashes and reject their testimony ever after. They are the defiantly disobedient.”
— Qur’an 24:4
And Allah gives an even more serious warning:
“Indeed, those who accuse chaste, unsuspecting, believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have a great punishment.”
— Qur’an 24:23
Think about that.
We often say these things casually because the person is famous, politically opposed to us, or because we assume, “It doesn’t matter, she will never hear what I said.”
But Allah heard it.
The fact that our words may never reach that woman does not mean they disappear. Every accusation, insult, lie and piece of gossip can become part of our record of deeds.
Before forwarding a video, sharing a WhatsApp message, repeating a rumour or making an accusation about someone’s character, ask yourself:
Do I actually know this to be true?
Can I prove it?
Would I be prepared to answer for these words before Allah?
Political disagreement does not cancel someone’s dignity. And being a woman in politics does not make someone’s honour a free target.
We can criticise politicians without abusing them.
We can oppose their ideology without inventing allegations.
We can condemn their actions without attacking their character.
Our tongues are easy to move, but the consequences of those words may be very heavy in the sight of Allah.
On the Day when every word is accounted for, “I was only joking”, “everyone was saying it”, or “I heard it somewhere” may not be an acceptable excuse.
I’ve noticed how politics is a centre of MANYYY Pakistani dramas. Corrupt politics and corrupt politicians. For many years we are watching these dramas that have corrupt politicians either as the villain character or someone related to the main characters. I’m starting to think that it’s less about raising awareness on how dirty politics works and more about normalizing all of it. Take example of Hollywood action movies. They show SO MUCH action in their action movies that it’s very normal for their audiences. They don’t bat an eye on owning guns or weapons. School shooting is a casual every other day thing wahan py. Same goes for Pakistan. Corrupt politics is a normal everyday thing here and everyone lives with it even though they don’t support it. Corruption exists in every sector and at every level. Is making dramas and highlighting it effective in raising awareness against it? NO! its a way of normalizing it all.
Zaryab's family was looking for her and abu bakr's mom overhears them.
So she tells him beta go otuside where zaryab went and bring her in, 'dekho ab tau lights bhi hall ki band honay wali hain', whilst everyone was seates jnside the hall and rukhsti hadn't ended, how lights were abr to be turned off was beyond me.
Okay then abu bakr goes and finds zaryab, zaryab goes inside and abu bakr approaches his mom and tells her, lets go, what she says??
'Beta abhi tau rukhsati bhu nahi hui honay wali hai phir chalay jain gay....'....
Like 5 minutes back you were telling him lights band honay wali hain and now.
Also, it made it so stark because both scenes were shot in exact same angle and manner and same pose, same frames that it felt stupid.
Actress is blamed....??
You can't see this tharki guy wants to be around younger women himself???
He is a perv and anyone could tell yet ..
ANd producers with money stop hiring her.
Tell us shehryar himself was said to be gay or bi, till date ppl speculate abt him. He was linked with multiple actresses.
Then why fund such stupid excessive religiosity tone dramas?
What Umaira ahmed does?? She writes bipolar unbelievable sht dramas.
Zarnab whatever difficult name is shown travelling alone with zamir around the world, she sits alone in his bedroom at 4 am, in other parts of world ppl would be making out by then if this was normal to spend time in each others rooms at that time, with so much couple travelling, her leaving home 3 am whenever he calls her, yet she hasn't slept and on top of it her dadi has some chip inserted inside zarnab's body she will know when she slept with her bf???
And in this class who cares abt this stuff??
This is upperclass depiction umaira does and makes it all look middle class.
I don't understand what sort of poor writing it is and ppl only believe and watch her shit dramas because she uses religion and masses who just love abuse of religion go along with it knowing how poorly it is written.
98pc pk men are obsessed with thoughts of zina to find out which woman is sleeping with whom because 200 kms away sitting jamila sleeping without nikah will destroy the iman and religion and faith of Mehmood using reddit sitting in some city 500 kms away.
There was a creep here in this sub defending umaira writing 'zina masla banta ja raha hai'..
Kaisay ban raha hai masla?? I don't get??
And same men will say 2nd and 3 4 marriages are allowed in islam which are also cheating but they will label calling them cheating as blasphemy.
No, this whole shit should stop. Umaira writing weird pathetic dramas and making them stay relevant by using religion.
SHEHRYAR SHAME ON U.
1-3 reel one.
4-6 reel 2.
Why fans do this?
Fiest slide , I didn't get what zaryab said and translation made me understand.
In 2nd, i like durre here. She was looking nice. Anyone knows her outfit was by whom?
3rd slide, the dulha was looking so tired and bezaar.
Umera ahmed shared this on her X account. This gives more perspective. She did get intimate with Zaamil.
They looked so similar in some scenes. Dar e nijat.
But Umaira what if it is a guyyyy??
Larkon ko zina ka gunah nahi hota??? What if i force a guy to have sex with me next day uski ammi ko khawab aey ga a vulture was noch kay khana his body?? Or a pretty pari was eating his botiyan??
Genuine question, and I'm asking this from a pretty neutral place because I'm actually trying to understand the discourse around him.
I've been listening to Danyal Zafar's music since around COVID, when Udh Chaliye came out, and I've followed some of his more recent music too — Khwaab, Samati Jaa, Yin Yang, and Blue Butterfly. I'm also a singer myself and have at least a basic understanding of music, so from a purely musical standpoint, I genuinely don't understand why his work gets dismissed so aggressively. Obviously everyone is entitled to their taste, but some of the reactions I've seen seem to go far beyond simply disliking his music.
I also started watching Zanjeerein because of Sajal Aly, and while I'm not here to claim he's some flawless actor, I personally haven't found his performance so unbearable that I understand the sheer amount of backlash surrounding him.
So what exactly is the main reason people dislike him so much?
Is it primarily the nepotism issue because he's Ali Zafar's brother? Is it his acting? His personality or the way he responds to criticism? His unconventional music/style? Or is there something substantial about his past or public behavior that I'm missing?
I've come across some pretty extreme allegations and opinions about him on Reddit, but I'm specifically not asking people to repeat unverified gossip. I'm more interested in hearing about things that are actually known/documented, or experiences/opinions that explain where this level of dislike comes from.
I'm genuinely curious because, from where I'm standing, I see an unconventional artist who has had plenty of opportunities because of his family, but also someone who seems to have his own musical identity.
So what am I missing?
