Bug Report: Instant Scroll on Field Click

Bug Report: Instant Scroll on Field Click

I sent a shot-in-the-dark email to support@paylocity.com because their "contact us" page is just a glorified FAQ with no way to submit a bug report for their application. I'm posting it here to increase the chances of it getting to their development team.

Bug Report: Instant Scroll on Field Click

Problem: As an applicant, you have an extremely frustrating bug during the application process that causes the page to instantly scroll to the bottom the second you click on any drop-down field.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Apply to a role: https://recruiting.paylocity.com/Recruiting/Jobs/Apply/4182780
  2. At the last step in the application process, you are asked to input demographic information. This is where the bug occurs.
  3. Click on any dropdown item on that page

Expected Result: You can make a selection in the field.

Actual Result: The browser immediately scrolls to the bottom of the page, deselecting the dropdown and preventing you from making a selection. You can't even tab your way through the field as a workaround.

Scope: I have encountered this bug on multiple job applications with multiple companies over the last few weeks.

Please get your development team to fix this as a critical item because it makes the already Sisyphean task of applying to jobs even more arduous, leading to me backing out of any application with "Paylocity" in the URL.

So I accidentally missed a number in my routing number when entering my direct deposit info when I first got hired but didn’t realize until today and I suppose to get paid this week Friday! What is going to happen

Block admin from seeing specific job posting?

We have an executive director position up. There are three admins in our company: me (assistant director), fiscal officer, and executive director. The fiscal officer has applied for the ED position and can see all the other applicants / their competition. They say they have not looked, but the current ED and I have no way to tell. Is there a way to block a specific job posting from an admin?
