Expensive day fishing

Well I had a good day fishing Octorara Lake yesterday. I caught 6 bass. Unfortunately mistakes were made. I have an inflatable kayak. I dropped my rod and it bounced off the boat went for a swim. Unfortunately I was in an area where it is really deep. I guess it is time to attach a rod saver. That was an expensive day fishing. Has anyone used rod savers and if so can you recommend some.

I Cast Into A Tree And Actually Catch A Fish - Western PA Adventures

This is by far the craziest catch of the year for me. It's something we've all done but this time I actually catch a fish and smoke it up.

Where to cat fish near Harrisburg

Hey ya’ll I spent all this summer and I have catch small trout to some medium size small mouths but I really want to catch some catfish. I’ve tried rock point near Duncannon where the Juanita river Mets the susquehanna, Opposum lake , Fort Hunter, the Boat launch near Enola, Pintcho lake , Mt holly marsh, the conodoguinet creek, and little buffalo state park. And no luck , I have used worms, shad, bluegill head covered in kool aid and nothing. Just want to do my part and remove invasive Flat heads or some blue cats. And tips gentleman would be great!
