Looking for others experience on sizing for my 10 year old

My son will be 10 in June. I've read on Google that the junior size is what's recommended, but then when I look on their website under the junior sizing, they say that the junior line can be too small and is typically recommended for kids ages 6-8. I've also called and talked to them over the phone, but didn't get much help there.

He wears prescription glasses as well, so I'll be having to order the clip in for that separately. I just want to make sure I'm getting the right thing, as I don't know if we got the wrong size and had to exchange them, if that would also effect how the Rx clip in fits?

Ear Piece Replacement

Hi guys! I go these off facebook marketplace last summer, so I don’t know what model/style they are. I’m trying to get new ear piece replacements, but I want to make sure I order the right ones. Any help would be so appreciated!! (the ones on there aren’t the ones I want. Will attach photo of the style ear piece I’m looking for)

Nose piece melts

Sorry about the absolutely disgusting glasses but I'm gonna forget if I don't ask now, does anyone have a chronic melting nosepiece problem? I go through nose pieces like every four months. I think it's because I wear sunscreen and wear them outside, is there a solution or should I keep buying nose pieces? I'm okay with either I love my pit vipers but it would be fun to try any suggestions! Also the lines in the nosepiece are like.. melted into it, the grooves on the new nose pieces rub my skin off so I melted the surface to make it smoother lol
