Please Help

I have a blue bully and at least once a year he starts itching, gets dry skin, hair falls out, and licks his legs til they’re raw and weep. Any recommendations? My vet is no help. The only food he can tolerate is the food he’s been on since a puppy. Has an allergy to practically everything except white fish. I can include pics if needed.

📝 Shelter Notes:

6/16: Initially lying on his cot, Kingsly came forward with a neutral body, soft eyes, and a low wagging tail. After receiving a few pets, he became very friendly and wiggly, even trying to climb into the handler's lap while seeking treats and affection.

6/19: Met handlers with a relaxed body, slow swaying tail, and soft smiling mouth. He walked well on a loose leash, only occasionally stopping to interact with other staff members as they passed.

6/22: Kingsly greeted staff at his kennel door with a gently wagging tail and calm demeanor. He allowed easy leashing, walked loosely to and from the potty yard, and was seen quietly relaxing on his cot inside his kennel.

6/24: Kingsly presented with a relaxed body and soft, open smile. He walked on a loose leash to and from the potty yard and remained calm outside, taking time to sniff around before relieving himself.

• Approximately 56 pounds

• Heartworm positive

• Neutered on 6/17 and recovered appropriately

• No current medical concerns noted at his most recent exam (5/9 normal)
