So where are the draft boards? (M-B)

I see a lot of advertisements for people's leagues and people asking how to join a league, and I see nothing regarding actual boards. Google doesn't work anymore and we haven't done anything to collect information.

Drop 'em here. Stop waiting for Wolfey to make a league, hiding in your Discord and share your toys.

My First Draft League Team

Just finished drafting my first ever team. We're doing doubles on Champions. How do you think I did?

EDIT: Thanks everyone for your help! I decided to trade out Mega Absol for Mega Beedrill and Talonflame for Hisuian Arcanine so that I have some more firepower and a more serviceable fast mode. I'm aware that this means I still have a pretty bad match up against fire but the only fire types that got drafted are Charizard Y, Mega Delphox, Incin, Pyroar, volcarona, mega and base scovillain and simisear and there isn't much left on the board to counter it without creating new issues so I'll have to learn to play around them. Appreciate everyone's help!

What are some pokemon that are often overlooked that you are absolutely surprised. People don't snatch up

In draft, what are some Pokémon that whether they are high point value or low, you constantly see never or rarely picked. For me I notice tyrannatar seems to rarely be on anyone's radar to pick up

Just finished drafting our NatDex draft!

Still in the grace period so allowed to make some changes. Advice is very much welcome, I am concerned about doubling up on too many types, but feel like the mons I drafted do fit the roles I was lacking.

Megas in draft

I'm creating a first time draft with some friends who are getting back into the game thanks to champions.

Trying to explain how it works to them, what is the official reason megas are seperate to their normal forms. I like it but they were asking the reason 😂

Did I do good for my first draft?

First time drafting it was an 8 person draft with 100 points each. I’d like to think getting every type (besides normal) was a good thing but might of prioritized that to much, definitely missing speed.

Im looking to start a Champions 6v6 singles (draft league with the reg M-B format to play with my friends (I know they dont have that in champions, we would play on showdown). Help Creating a New MB League

I am really hoping to start a new regulation MB VGC doubles draft league because all the leagues I have checked are already full, so I decided to go ahead and create my own. The problem is I have absolutely no idea on how to create my own league, Idk how to use the special websites make a point sheet record the data or anything else. So my idea is that there are some people who also want to be in a MB league and who have experience with creating a league. I am hoping to get a lot of people with expertise so it can be collaborative and it could a be a very good league. So if you have experience and want to help please message me and il add you to the discord server that I have. Also If you don’t have experience but really want to join a league message me and I’ll see if we have room.

Looking for Strong Challengers to Beat Our Discord Server League Stinkpost Stunday

The Pokémon Paradise server is looking for good competitive players to take on its community driven league system on Pokémon Champions.

Fight your way through the league, defeat the Gym Leaders, challenge the Elite 4, and earn your shot at the Champion title. If you prove yourself strong enough, you can even claim a position for your own and defend it from future challengers.

Unlike many servers where competitive roles are static, every Gym Leader, Elite 4 member, and even the Champion position can be challenged and taken over through battle.

Built for both competitive players and casual challengers alike.

Current Champion: Rajang (Flying)

If you think you have what it takes, read league-format-rules and begin your challenge in league-chat. https://discord.gg/H3DqNTA5

What’s your Drafting Philosophies?

I recently just finished my first draft league, and when it came to drafting, my key philosophy was to draft mons that I thought were flexible and could work in a lot of different ways.

In my league, we had a mix of flexibility and set strategies drafted and it’s really hard to tell what the better idea is since the overall standings were quite mixed.

so i was wondering what people initially look for when drafting? we plan on doing a season 2 and i’m stumped on where to start. is it worth starting with a strong mega, a meta relevant mon, good fake out user, a terrain or weather setter?

let me know! (doubles btw)

Reg MB Draft League VGC

I am starting a Regulation MB draft league. It is planned to be a 8 coach league and it will be held on discord. If you want to join you have to be very active and not leave midway through. I created the point system and their might be some flaws all you have is do, is point them out and I will look through the request. The draft will be VGC and if you would like to join message me.

It will be played on Pokémon champions but if you don’t or cant use it you may use Pokémon showdown you just need to tell your opponen.

Champions Draft League

Would anyone be willing to help me create a draft league? I have never done one before so i don’t know all the nuances to setting one up and creating rules. I think i’d want to do the point system rule (each pokémon is assigned a point value) I would like to have a couple people help me set it up then we can share it out and get some participants! Send me a message if this is something you’d be interested in helping me set up!

Season 3 of my draft league needs 2 more people (Reg M-B doubles on showdown)

Dm me with your discord username if you want to join. The draft won’t start for about 3 weeks so there is plenty of time to plan your team. All skill/experience levels are welcome.

Mayu's Draft League S2

Mayu's draft league is a 8-player Champions M-B doubles draft league looking for 2 more coaches to join us for our 2nd season.

Our draft board does not differentiate megas and base forms so coaches can swap between them every week. Regional forms and variants are also included.

At the end of the season, we will hold a live single- elimination top cut to crown the final winner so the being able to play during NA time zones is recommended.

EDIT: Our league is now full. Thank you everyone who showed interest!

Unique Draft League Format Idea

Hey all! I just had a random late night stroke of inspiration and curious if this format of a league I just dreamed up would be of interest to anyone? I only just cooked it up within the last hour or two, so it's still half baked, but figured I would check to see if there's some interest out there and I can put together the rest and get it going if so.

Essentially you would have 3 teams, structured like a farm system we see in professional sports with prospects in the minor leagues. Below is what I have typed up about it so far.

This league is designed to mimic the nature of farm teams that we see within professional sports leagues such as the NHL (with AHL, ECHL) or the MLB (with MiLB) or even the NBA (with the G-League). Not to mention all the pro sports leagues outside North America with their own academies and systems of that nature.

The idea here is that you will have your main team, featuring your strongest pokemon, but will also have two additional teams to manage that feature some of your weaker options (in other words, your “prospects”). For the purposes of this league, those two lower teams will be filled by the pre-evolutions of the pokemon on your “pro” or main team.

So the league structure will be built as follows:

  • Division 1: Only pokemon that are in their final stage of evolution (including ones that do not evolve)
  • Division 2: Pokemon in the middle of a 3+ stage evolution, or base stage pokemon from that only evolve once
  • Division 3: Pokemon that are eligible for the little cup format.

If you have a pokemon that only evolves once, and their base stage is eligible for little cup, you will choose which division they will compete in.

Our draft will only include pokemon in their final stage, or who do not evolve. When you select a pokemon, you automatically get all of it’s previous stages. So if you select Charizard, you will also get Charmeleon and Charmander as options for divisions 2 and 3.

To be able to fill all the division rosters, we will draft a deeper pro roster, which will give you more opportunities to select pokemon who evolved once, twice, or more times while still having the option to select some that never evolved. This means the rosters for divisions 2 and 3 will likely be smaller.

For battle format, I am leaning towards doing doubles battles and kinda like the idea of no mechanics/gimmicks (ie no megas, no dynamax, no tera, etc) but can be flexible on some of this stuff.

Anyway, take a look and let me know if this is something you'd be interested in seeing thought out more or moved forward. I am happy to put in the work to cook out the idea and run the league if people like the idea.

Any questions or feedback are welcome too. This is a very new thought.

PS: This league will run on Showdown if I do move forward with it.

How would you rate my team?

Hey everyone! I am playing a draft with some friends, and this is the 10 Pokémon I ended up with:

  1. Metagross-Mega

  2. Eelektross-Mega

  3. Gengar

  4. Pelipper

  5. Sableye

  6. Weavile

  7. Noivern

  8. Trevenant

  9. Alcremie

  10. Tauros-Blaze

The idea is to make a TailRoom team, so that I can use Tailwind against those who do not have their own, or Trick Room otherwise.

I do have 3 free switches, in case you have different suggestions.

Tbh, I regret a little of not going full trick room... but with only 3 free switches, I am not sure I have that many options.

What do you all think?
