Need some insight please

I see theres a difference between the 2 posted pictures and am curious as to which one looks more "normal" and what piece is this called?

I know how to do simple things like brakes, oil changes, light changes etc... so I am still learning lol

Please no judgment

Edit to add she is a 2006 grand prix with 134,509km I hear a knocking from the right side every time I turn left or go over bumps

Almost done!!!

I can finally see the finish line. XP cam, 150lb springs, lifters, rollmaster double chain, g2 fuel logs etc. I did the cam through the wheel well and the method worked very well. A couple of hiccups along the way, like having to remove the bumper to access bolts for brackets that held the cradle but other than that I’m almost done. All that’s left is reinstalling the splash guard and headlights.

what’s next for my Prix?

I need some help finding a good exhaust setup for my car, I want to go muffler delete, but I’m scared of crazy drone. Need something cheap. Also considering buying the struts+springs from ZZP. But I wish I could find some coilovers, just not the $1200 ones from ZZP. 😔. 3.8L SC btw.

Remote Start

I lost the one they gave me when I bought the car. When I bought a replacement I was told I had to go have it programmed. I was lazy and cheap and didn't do it. Now I'm wanting to get the remote start going again. I assume I can buy them on Amazon or Rock Auto. I vaguely remember seeing something online that would let me program it myself? Is this true or is this a false memory?

FM transmitter 2005 Grand Prix

Need an FM transmitter for my Samsung. Problem is most of the ones I've found online have it where the controls are facing towards the console and away from me. I got the Nulaxy KM18 and it looks nice but wouldn't work unless I learn to do things backwards.
