We’re hosting a Skip the Small Talk night to Town Hall Collaborative in Denver, if you want an easier way to do that.

You’ll rotate through a series of short conversations using prompts that make it way less awkward than standard networking energy.

It’s low pressure. No weird icebreakers. No forced vulnerability. Just good questions and good people.

Come solo. Bring a friend. Either works.

ecoRI News co-founder and columnist Frank Carini will conduct a wide-ranging live interview with Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse on the topics of safeguarding the midterm elections, the Democrats' plan to win back voters, repairing damage to the natural world caused by federal rollbacks, protecting America's democracy against authoritarianism, codifying reproductive rights, reforming the Supreme Court, and upholding the system of checks and balances in the age of Trump.

Following the interview, there will be an opportunity for questions from the audience.
