Do you receive Final degree classification on 11th June

Currently a final year student and I need to provide my new employer with proof of my degree classification. I know module results are released on 11th June , on this date will we also receive a final degree classification result and if so what does this look like on QSIS?

I just want to make sure I can provide my employer with this information as soon as possible

Reconsideration for deferral

Is it reasonable to email them asking both for clarification and for reconsideration for rejecting my deferral as an international student? I already explained my financial and family circumstances and my conditional offer has been accepted.

Coming as an exchange student for the fall

Hi, I'm coming from America (sorry in advance) for the fall semester and wanted to know which dorms are the best v. worst.

Like don't sugarcoat it.

And I'm 23, so I don't want to room with 18 year olds if I can help it.

I'm naturally quite introverted and I want to be able to make some friends before I arrive, or know where to go to be able to mingle.

Applying with btecs

Im currently doing a level 3 btec in biomedical science and Im wondering if i could apply to queens I have done a bit of research but I’m still kind of unsure like it says they do accept certain criteria for courses but do people actually get offers with a btec? My btec course is equivalent to 3 a-levels and I have been thinking about applying for nursing. So can anyone tell me if they have gotten into qub with a btec please!!!!

Joining QUB this September! 🎓 Looking to connect and need some accommodation advice

Hi everyone!

I’m an international student from India moving to Belfast this September for the upcoming intake at Queen's University Belfast. I'm really excited (and a bit nervous!) to move to Belfast and would love to start meeting people and building some connections before I arrive.

If there are any other students starting this year, or current students at QUB, I’d love to hear from you.

Also, I’m currently looking into accommodation and would appreciate any suggestions. I’ve heard about the university-run halls like Elms Village, but I’m also open to private student housing like LIV Student or areas like Stranmillis and Botanic.

If you have any tips on which spots are best for meeting people or any "must-knows" for an international student moving to the city, please let me know!Looking forward to meeting you all soon!
