Just received my Rapha Explore Powerweave shoes today and honestly I’m a bit confused.

The shoes arrived inside a clearly reused POC box, with POC branding all over the outside packaging. For a premium brand like Rapha, this feels pretty strange and kind of disappointing from a customer experience standpoint.

The shoes themselves seem fine, but the packaging made the whole thing feel oddly improvised, almost like a returned or repackaged order.

Has anyone else received Rapha orders like this recently? Is this something they normally do now for sustainability reasons, or should I be concerned?

I've been running pedal straps since the start of my fixie journey, I recently decided to explore into the wonderful world of clip-less pedals. I then used this excuse to justify a small purchase of a cycling cap (to look cooler of course because it's Rapha), I actually purchased this casquette because I loved the colour scheme when I first found it, upon receiving it, I discovered it's actually from the 2016 TDF. I wanted to know if anyone had further information on this item, as I cannot find anything at the moment. It fits well, but the majority of my head circumference is hair at this point, so I need a haircut. As for the shoes, they’re a pair of Mavic Cosmics I believe, I got both items second hand and I am very pleased with how they look, I cannot wait to cycle in them both and grow the Rapha collection.

Does anyone know if there’s a mid year Rapha sale?

In December there was a 40% off everything in the store for RCC members. I can’t in good conscience drop 350 bones on a pair of bib shorts, but could justify $210 for the amount of riding I’ve been doing lately
