Shri Kunj Bihari Shri Haridas 🌸🌸

Before knowing the mahamantra we need to know about Swami Shri Haridas ju and Yet before that we should know about tatvas, there are so many deities and their respective upasana paddhatis etc and everything is fine in their own rights.

In Vaishanvite Tradition the one supreme absolute is Narayana who's beyond Everything as Vedas describe him in Narayana and Purusha sukta, same can be found in all major texts such as Mahabharat, Ramayana , majority of Puranas etc.

But that same Lord Narayana has been mentioned as Aishwarya roop of Krishna in puranas such as Brahm vaivart, Narad puran, Padma Puran, Garga samhita etc.

Bhagavatam and several texts describe Shyaamasundar as the root cause of all forms (sarva avataar avataari).

Now, Lord Krishna too have different forms, in Vaikuntha he resides in the absolute mood of Aishwarya, in nitya Dwarka dhaam the same lord resides in the mood of Madhurya Mishrit Aishwarya.

The lord in Golok is the same lord but in the mood of Aishwarya Mishrit Madhurya.

But the lord in his supreme absolute beginning less and end less Maadhurya mood, for whom Vedas declare "Raso Vai sah" (this vedic declaration can only be understood through Krishna), resides in anandi anant Nitya Nikunj Vrindavan dhaam.

And that same Nitya Nikunj Vihari lord Krishna always finds his eternal infinite bliss in Srimati Kishori ju for she's his very soul(completely non different from him) and ahlaad as Skand Puran describes:

आत्मारामस्य कृष्णस्य ध्रुवमात्मास्ति राधिका ।। तस्या दास्यप्रभावेण विरहोऽस्मान्न संस्पृशेत् ।

His(Krishna) Atman is Radhika. Since he sports with her, he is said to be 'one sporting and rejoicing in the soul', by Iearned men who know mysterious things. (Skanda Puran 2.6.2.11)

Not one or two but all those rasikas who reached epitome state (even ras Khan ji) had this same vision of Shyaama Sundar always eager to serve Kishori ji, this state of Shyaama Sundar can only be found in Nitya Nikunj (not even in Goloka) where the divine couple manifests the absolute maadhurya rasa.

And now that same Swamini ju has 8 eternally existing expansions of her known as ashta Sakhis, the first amongst whom is Sri Lalita Sakhi, as Mahadev says in Padma Puran :

ललिताद्याः प्रकृत्यंशा मूलप्रकृतिराधिका

~ Lalita and other (seven sakhis) are expansion of Prakriti and the mool Prakriti is Sri Radhika.

Notice the emphasis on Sri Lalita sakhi,

Shri Lalita Sakhi is the very heart of Sri Radha Maharani and that same Shri Lalita sakhi manifested as ananya Nripati Swami Shri Haridas ju to bestow that supreme absolute Divya rasa onto Jivas.

As Bhagavat rasik dev ju writes : आचारज ललिता सखी, रसिक हमारी छाप । ~ Our Acharya is Lalita sakhi and our identity is of Rasika.

Swami Haridas ju has been described by Sri Hariram Vyas ji as the अनन्य नृपति श्रीस्वामी हरिदास। ~ Shri Swami Haridas Ji is the supreme emperor among all exclusive lovers of divine nectar (Ananya Rasikas).

Such is the stature of Swami ju Maharaj amongst ananya rasikas for he's none but Lalita sakhi herself, always absorbed in the pure divine rasa serving Shri Shyaamaa Shyaam.

Now as we have tried to know little about Swami ju Maharaj as no one's capable of describing his full glories, now here's the mahamantra that is absolutely capable of bestowing the supreme divine rasa on anyone,if chanted sincerely:

"श्यामा प्यारी कुंज बिहारी जय जय श्री हरिदास दुलारी"

Shri Bhagavat Rasik Dev ju writes :

सम्प्रदाय नवधा भक्ति, वेद सुरसरी नीर। ललिता सखी उपासना, ज्यौं सिंहनी कौ छीर ॥ ज्यौं सिंहनी कौ छीर रहै कुंदन के बासन। कै बच्चा के पेट, और घट कौ विनासन।।। भगवत नित्य विहार पर, सबही के परदा । रहें निरंतर पास रसिक बर सखी सम्प्रदा ॥

Meaning:

All traditional sects related to the nine forms of devotion (Navadha Bhakti) and the Vedas are great and like the water of the holy river Ganga. For ages, countless devotees have been filling their own vessels with this devotional Ganga water.

However, the divine nectar (rasa) of worshiping Vrindavan rasa through the mood of Sakhi in the tradition of Lalita Sakhi (Swami Haridas ju Sampraday) is not like Ganga water (it's not so easily achievable and so common)—it is like lioness’s milk. Just as a common vessel cannot hold lioness’s milk, ordinary hearts cannot contain this supreme nectar, if it will go into the belly of common people it will destroy them. It can only stay either in a vessel made of pure gold (Kundan) or inside the stomach of a lion cub.

All great saints, the Vedas and great deities do not have the capacity to manifest or reveal this Nitya Vihar (the eternal, confidential loving play of Radha Krishna). This rare and secret nectar is hidden from everyone. Swami Haridas Ji is the crown jewel and the ultimate ideal among these exclusive devotees (Ananya Rasiks).

He is overflowing with the Nitya Vihar nectar.

He is completely absorbed in it every single moment.

Inside him, there is absolutely nothing else but this divine love.

He has no desire for heaven, no fear of hell, no longing for worldly pleasures or liberation (Mukti). He is completely untouched by ritualistic rules, restrictions, or anxieties about good and bad omens. Because of this pure, absolute dedication, he alone could reveal the colorful splendor of Sakhi Upasana (the mood of the divine female companion) and the eternal nectar of Vrindavan (Nitya Vihar).

As Hariram Vyas ji writes in his Vyas Vani:

अनन्य नृपति श्रीस्वामी हरिदास। कुंजबिहारी सेये बिनु जिनि, छिन न करी काहूकी आस ॥

~ Shri Swami Haridas Ji is like the supreme emperor among all exclusive lovers of divine nectar (Ananya Rasiks). Within the secluded, sacred groves (kunjas) of Vrindavan, he never looked at anyone or anything other than Shri Kunj Bihari and Biharini (Radha and Krishna). Nor did he ever place his hopes or expectations in anyone else—no matter who they were.

Swamini ji says:

किंचिज्जानाति सीता साऽप्यहं च विधिबोधितम्। मत्परा दुःखिनी नास्ति कामिनीषु जगत्त्रये ।। १३॥ का वा याति प्रतीतिं मे श्रुत्वा च मानसी व्यथाम्।

This type of grief(of being feeling the separation from the lord) was known either to Sitā or to myself. There is no one else in the three worlds whose mind is so painful as compared to me. Can any woman believe in my pain after looking at me.

Vraj dhaam ki Jai 🌸🙏🏻

Shastro ne Vraj dhaam ko, Yamuna ji ko sakshat Thakur ji bola hai 🌸🌸

The land of Vraj is the very life breath to a Rasika. It is the very realm where nitya vihar (the eternal divine pastimes) flows continuously, without stopping for a single moment.

There is a common misconception that the ultimate goal of Rasikas is to reach Goloka. In truth, Goloka is attained by those who have sweetness (madhurya bhava) mixed with awe and reverence (aishwarya mishrit madhurya). Similarly, Dwarka Dhama is attained by those who have a sense of awe mixed with sweetness (madhurya mishrit aishwarya), while Vaikuntha is attained by those who have pure awe and reverence (aishwarya bhava). Nikunj (the heart of Vraj Dhama), however, is exclusively attained by those who possess pure, unmixed Maadhurya bhaava for Priya Priyatam (shuddha madhurya bhava).

This same infinite, eternal Vraj Dhama is projected onto the earthly plane. What we see on Earth is the Prakat Dhama (the manifest realm), and this same Divya Dhama (divine realm) in its complete swaroopa is attained by those who completely immerse themselves in rasopaasana.

When Sri Bhaiji Maharaj left his physical body, Pandit Sri Gaya Prasad Ji witnessed a divine vision of him entering Sri Vrindavan Dhama in the form of a sakhi, carried on a palanquin by other sakhis. While news of Bhaiji's passing arrived much later, Pandit Ji had already told his followers early on that Bhaiji had entered the nitya lila (the eternal divine pastimes of Radha Madhav).

Coming to the title, this divine Pada (verse)—which is generally sung during Samaj Gayan (congregational singing) in Vrindavan—was composed by Sri Bhatta Devacharya Ju, the 15th-century Jagadguru Nimbarkacharya of the Sri Nimbarka Sampradaya. He recorded this verse in the Yugal Shatak, also known as Aadi Vani. It is called Aadi Vani because it stands as the very first composition written in the Vraj language by a Rasik Acharya.

ब्रज भूमि मोहिनी मैं जानि। मोहनि कुंज मोहन वृन्दावन मोहनि जमुना पानी। मोहनि नारि सकल गोकुल की, बोलत मोहनी वानी। श्रीभट्ट के प्रभु मोहन नागर, मोहनी राधा रानी।।

~I have come to know that the land of Braj is enchanting. Its groves are enchanting, Vrindavan is captivating, and the nectar-sweet River Yamuna is also enchanting. All the women of Braj are divinely enchanting, and they speak only sweet, nectar-like words. Shri Bhatta Devacharya Ji Maharaj says that his Lord, Krishna is captivating, and Shri Radha Rani is also completely enchanting.

कोटि विश्व ऐश्वर्य सुख, नहिं जु एक कण तूल। सो रज तोकौं खेल है, मेरी जीवन मूल ॥

~Shri Hit Bhorisakhi Ji says, 'O beautiful one! The happiness derived from the opulence of millions of universes cannot equal even a single grain of dust of this Vrindavan. You consider brushing away and discarding this dust as mere play, whereas it is the very life-giving elixir (Prana Sanjivani) of my soul.
