1st U.S. Cavalry Regiment

What is the 1CR?

The 1CR is a cavalry regiment of the United States Army. We are a military simulation group (MILSIM) that offers a realistic experience for our members.

What do we do?

The regiment carries out several activities on a daily basis to stay on mission. These include:

• Patrolling the five territories with the objectives of maintaining order in civilised areas, anti-griefing (in certain circumstances), and more

• Participating in campaigns against other MILSIM groups

• Carrying out training to sharpen skills

• Gathering supplies & selling wagons

• Boxing club & saloon gatherings

• Expeditions to explore territories

• Supporting other groups in conflict (in certain circumstances)

What do we offer?

Members of the 1CR have several opportunities to improve themselves. These opportunities include:

• Promotions - being able to lead a squad, platoon, troop, along with the ability to attend leadership academies to enhance your skills

• Medals & Ribbons - campaign medals are awarded when individuals fight in certain wars, however other medals are earned through conduct within the regiment and more

• Follow regulations relating to uniform, grooming and weapon standards

• Speak good English

The 1WEVI is a well established military simulation community that provides a unique infantry based experience through the military theme we have. Using our expertise from the past milsim crews we grew from, we also offer a sound and balanced community driven progress system. This means we want *you* to help us grow by giving suggestions and feedback through our channels!

*What makes our crew unique?*

Well, it's simple. We try our hardest to provide you with a fair experience that balances expectations by our ranks without making it too easy for certain people. We also prioritize active feedback with meetings that can be attended by each rank category, respectively.

*What does the experience offer me?*

We understand that different people have different reasons for their wishes to join, so we'll help narrow it down. Our crew focuses on a healthy mix of thorough and uniquely slow paced events like state patrols, operations, and strikes. We also dabble in fast-paced action through Team Vs Teams, and through our different roles.

Our roles offer you the ability to specialize in your own skills that could benefit the unit and how it functions. Our Vanguard works on defense, and helps protect our less adept soldiers from a direct threat. While our Engineers are better suited for patient and casual players who just love to drive!

*Requirements:*

- We require you to be 15 years of age or older. This ensures a level of expected maturity can be met for proficient members.

- We require microphones. When a community is so heavily based around comms and commands, we need to rely on sharp wit and fast response time.

- We require you to listen to orders. While unjust orders are explicitly protected against forced compliance, joining this crew means you are expected to respect the orders of your Commander when in action.

- We require you to have discord. All of our operations come from our discord servers and Playstation group chats, it is a necessary means of communication.
