Hello everyone!

I've been roleplaying for the past 14 years, primarily on World of Warcraft, but also across several other MMOs. I'm currently taking a break from WoW, and after a long research, I finally discovered Return of Reckoning! I plan to install it tomorrow.

That said, I'm not much of a PvP player—I'm a long-time roleplayer first and foremost. How's the RP scene in Return of Reckoning these days?

I'm happy to play either faction and any race, as long as there are active roleplayers, a close-knit RP guild, or a community that's still going strong.

I primarily play PvE games. I am not a huge PvP guy. However, I understand that Warhammer Online / RoR are focused to an extent ON PvP based stuff. Just how much PvE content can a person engage in? Are there things a PvE player can do to help RvR and the like?

I never really tried Warhammer Online when I was younger, so I am curious just how it handles the world of Warhammer, but at the same time I am a carebear. What can I say, I dont react quickly enough to really engage with PvP lol

Hey. I played the game for a while now and I understand many things, but I'm stuck trying to choose between tanks to play at 40.

From what I understand, Chosen is an aurabot with more passive useful effects it gives, not sure what else they bring at max level.

Black Orc gives the Linecracka speed boost and 6s CC immunity at least.

Black Guard...lots of buttons with lots of debuffs and some buffs, For the Witch King is harder to get if you prefer survivability before getting Sovereign to be able to afford it.

Yeah, I know the basics, but if someone smarter could tell me what exactly do each Destro tank (why not Order too, I play Destro tho) bring to the table at endgame, full Sov or not?

Really like the game and I probably would have endless time to play it in the long run, just wanna know before I choose between the tanks to start grinding towards Sovereign. Yeah I know one should play what they like most, thematically or not. But I have IRL autistic traits so I am very interested in knowing the full deal!

Or many of them play white lions?

Also, Why do Destro players not play healers?

Or these are outdated facts?

New player here. Just a quick question: Is there any equivalent to WoWs help/harm macros in AoR/RoR?

Playing a healer in PvP situations these are very helpful. e.g. put a DoT/HoT on the same button, put insta cast Dmg / insta cast Heal on the same button …

I know i can just „shift“ it (or ctrl/alt map it) but that doubles the space needed, doubles the cramps in my fingers after hours and halves the comfort of healing.

how does this make sense majority of a WB in T1 is healers? PLEASE NERF THEM. tbh healers should have stances till they hit rank 16 where they can either ONLY heal or dps. no more of this BS mix. it kills the fun of t1 when they just all go roll new low rank healers and can never die. DEFEATS THE GAME AND IT IS 100% ON THE GAME MASTERS. THEY NEED TO NERF THIS. IF THERE IS ANY AAO AND YOUR MAJORITY HEALERS 75% HEAL NERF AND THIS STOPS. Legit nerf healing in t1 or make it sub par if your over capped on healers and it fixes itself in a week.

Je me demandais si quelqu’un ici avait déjà tenté d’installer et faire tourner Return of Reckoning sur une Lenovo Legion Go sous Bazzite (donc une distro Linux orientée gaming).

Je suis en train de configurer ma machine et j’aimerais savoir :

• Est-ce que le jeu fonctionne correctement via Proton/Wine dans ce setup ?
• Y a-t-il des tweaks spécifiques à faire sur Bazzite pour éviter des problèmes (Easy Anti-Cheat, performance, contrôles, etc.) ?
• Est-ce que quelqu’un a réussi à le lancer avec Lutris ou Steam Proton sans galère majeure ?
• Niveau perf sur la Legion Go, ça tourne bien ou il y a des soucis particuliers ?

Je suis preneur de toute expérience ou conseils, même si c’est juste un retour rapide 👍
