Tingles 'n burnings

On my fourth month of Wegovy oral, and just graduated from 9mg/day to 25mg/day four days ago.

And wowee...these side effects! I don't normally experience side effects from medications, but this is wacky. What started as a "sunburn" feeling on my forearms and the top of my feet has progressed to this weird burn/tingle on the surface of my skin, now over my entire body. It's a difficult feeling to describe, but I'd liken it to pins & needles (but only on the very surface of my skin), combined with a burning sensation, leading into a chill that leaves my skin in goosebumps.

I'm hoping it's temporary, but if it continues into the weekend, I'll talk to Ro about going back to 9mg.

Anyone else get this odd sensation?

Weekly support thread: refills, orders, held orders, and shipping

Hi everyone!

This thread is here for general questions about refills, order status, processing timelines, held orders, tracking, and shipping.

If you’re trying to understand where your order is in the process, feel free to ask below. You can also send me a PM if you’d rather not share publicly.

A few quick reminders:

Shipping updates
Ro has made updates to give you more visibility into where your next shipment stands. You can read more here: LINK

If your order says “processing”
Your order may still be moving through required steps before it ships. Timing can vary depending on your order, treatment plan, and where it is in the process. Processing typically takes 1–4 days.

If your order is “held”
A held order usually means something needs to happen before the order can move forward. You can ask questions about held orders here, or check your Ro account for any next steps.

If you’re waiting on a refill
Refill timing can vary. Sometimes additional review or information is needed before the next order can move forward. Refills are typically processed close to the last dose of your current medication.

If you’re waiting on tracking
Tracking is usually shared once it’s available. There may be some time between an order being processed and tracking becoming available.

If tracking says delivered but you don’t have your package
Check your Ro account for the latest shipping details. It can also help to check around your front door, lobby, mailroom, package room, or with neighbors or building staff. If it still hasn’t turned up, reach out to Ro Support through your account so the team can help look into it.

Please don’t share personal health information, prescription details, addresses, screenshots with identifying information, or order numbers publicly in this thread.

Once again- Ro screwed me.

My membership was cancelled. But only for about 2 weeks. I got my last script through them in July. Made me do onboarding again, signed up and was charged for the membership. They made me go through the medicine selection again- I get to the part where they are trying to charge me for the meds. I message support because I do not receive meds through Ro. They send it to my pharmacy. They tell me “don’t worry- just complete the form and we will send it like usual” So I do- and I get an attempted $400 charge from them and a notice that my meds are paused until I pay. I’m not paying $400 for meds I’m not getting through them. They have NEVER charged me for meds. I reach out to support again and now no response.

Super disgusted with this. And out of meds. I will go somewhere else if this is how stuff is now.

Anyone having problems with Ro sending their prescription?

My insurance approved the pre authorization for wegovy and Ro said they sent the Rx to cvs a few days ago, they never got it. I messaged them to resend it which they said they did and CVS yet again doesn’t have the prescription. I have told them multiple times but they don’t seem to fix the problem?

How quickly did you notice changes? Zepbound KwikPen

Hi everyone! I'm 31 years old are roughly 156-160lbs. As I've gotten older, it's been really hard for me to lose the weight on my own. I also have PCOS, so I have a ton on inflammation. I'm a bigggg late night snack person, and it's been so hard to tell myself "no" to these cravings. I want to get to around 130lbs. How long did it take you to notice? Will it take a while for me to reach my goal, since I don't necessarily have a lot to lose? Thank you so much!!! I'm excited but also nervous that it won't work for me.

I just want to understand if I made a mistake

I just got charged $534 for the 6month membership, now does that include the meds or did I just mess up and still have to pay the $300 a month? I’m so confused 😕

How quickly did you start noticing changes on a GLP-1?

I see a lot of people wondering whether they should feel something right away or whether it can take a while, so I thought this could be an interesting poll.
When did you first start noticing changes, whether that was appetite, cravings, food noise, weight loss, or anything else?

Would love to hear more in the comments too- especially what changed first for you.

wegovy 1.5 pill

Hi all! I just started the pill on friday. It has been 4 days for me but I see no appetite changes. Is this normal? I know it’s still too early too tell but it would be a bummer if I end up not reacting to this starter dose because it’s so expensive! Feel free to share ur experience about when u started noticing a difference, if it was with a higher dose, if it was with time, etc

Ro insurance

Hi y'all! I was just wondering does Ro actually use insurance?? I got my zepbound prescription and I was paying $30 for the first 3 months and then it skyrocketed to $400+. The thing is I never got a notification from my insurance that they're covering my prescription and I always get one for everything else because they send me a notification saying they were reached out to and the thing they're covering is very important and they've deemed that they are going to cover it.

I did a lot of research and everyone seems to get a discounted price for the first 3 months and then their price skyrockets and I've found out that they just put a discount that we can't see on the prescription for 3 months only. I've asked them to redo my PA 2 and 3 times now with no response back and I've had to submit proof that I have sleep apnea the last time, but why wouldn't they have me do that from the beginning when they most likely knew that I needed that for full coverage? I just need to know if they're actually reaching out to insurance companies or just giving us this discount that others are saying they're doing.
