Ro told me to call Eli Lilly myself… I’m sorry what?

Ro told me to call Eli Lilly myself… isn’t that their job?

My medication has been stuck in processing for days and I’m now missing a dose. When I contacted Ro, they responded by giving me Eli Lilly’s phone number and telling me to call and sort it out myself.

I’m sorry, what? The whole reason I pay a monthly fee is so they handle this. I dont use insurance, so it’s not like they’re spending my money on that side of things. I genuinely don’t know what I’m paying for at this point.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Is the Eli Lilly shipping thing a widespread issue right now?

Turnaround After Check-In Takes Forever Lately!

I am just venting, really, but the turnaround time is starting to suck. I asked about it during my recent check-in and was told to start checking in two weeks in advance. Two weeks?

It literally used to take 2–3 days. I may have to switch providers because this is nonsense.

Is anyone here checking in earlier now?

What product has become ESSENTIAL since starting GLP-1s? 👀

Meds aside- what has been the random product you now refuse to live without?

Could be electrolytes, protein shakes, fiber gummies, water bottles, snacks, apps, nausea remedies... literally anything.

Prescription Increase Requested 4/13 and approved on 5/3, but I still haven’t received my prescription and now I’m missing a dose

And, for the icing in the cake, I’ve already payed the $400. Customer service isn’t helping at all and basically gave me a message that sums up to “oh well!” What can I do in this case? Please help. 😔

Feeling puffy after the weekend? You’re not alone

Hi all!

Hope you had a great weekend. If you’re feeling puffy, tight, or like your stomach looks different today, you’re not alone (I'm feeling this especially hard after a rather indulgent few days). Eating out, more sodium, alcohol, carbonated drinks, less water, or a different routine can all lead to temporary bloating or water weight.

Here’s how to tell the difference between bloating and weight gain:

It’s more likely bloating/water weight if:

  • Your stomach is flatter in the morning and expands later in the day
  • You feel tight, full, puffy, or uncomfortable
  • It came on suddenly after meals, travel, alcohol, extra sodium, or constipation
  • It improves after walking, drinking water, or going to the bathroom

It’s more likely true weight gain if:

  • The change has been gradual over weeks or months
  • It doesn’t change much throughout the day
  • It doesn’t go away after your routine, digestion, and hydration get back to normal

A few things that may help today: hydrate, take a short walk, eat slowly, limit carbonated drinks, go easy on super salty foods, and give your body a day or two to get back into rhythm.

Scale changes after the weekend are common, and they don’t always reflect true weight gain.

Refill not actually shipped when Ro says “shipped”

I’m coming up on my second month of the Wegovy pill with Ro, but do refills actually get delivered before you run out? With 30 pills in a bottle I thought you’d get the refill a couple days early so you don’t run out and at first it seemed like that was happening. I filled out the refill questionnaire in April, got a notification that my refill was processing May 12th, and then yesterday May 15th I got a notification that my order shipped, but when I clicked the tracking link it said just the label has been created and the package has not been received by UPS. The first delivery took 5 days, and at this point I think I will run out unless the refill gets here on Wednesday, which is less than the 5 days shipping took last time. Has anyone else been having this issue? Given how much the RoBody membership costs I would have expected refills to be delivered before you run out?

Promo

I had to cancel my membership last month due to the membership cost and some unexpected expenses not aligning financially. I just reactivated and was given the promo price of $39 (yay, thank you) but one thing said I would be charged $149 once prescribed medication and another said this was my first month price.

Am I going to be charged $39 and then $149 in a few days once approved? 😵‍💫😵

$149 is already steep but you work with my insurance and my insurance greatly lowers the actual medication cost but I can't afford to be charged $188 just to get my refill (not even including my copay at the pharmacy) 😔

Am I misunderstanding this and way over thinking this? Lol helpppppp

Sincerely,

a very tired mom.

Super long response times?

My package for the new Wegovy dosage was supposed to arrive sometime this week, but it appears to be lost. I’ve sent multiple messages through the support system, but I haven’t received a response in several days. I’m now coming up on a week without taking the medication and still haven’t heard back. Should I dispute the charges on my card for both the membership fee and the medication cost?

Package stollen

Hi, I was supposed to receive my second dose of Kwikpen and I can’t find the package. The tracking on UPS said delivered with a blurry picture showing two different boxes but it looks like they kept it outside of my building so it was either stolen or never dropped.

I have filed a claim with UPS and emailed them. I left two messages on the Ro website and also a separate email but it looks like they will answer me in 3 business days. I have asked my building if they can check the camera footage but I would need to file a police report for that.

Is there a customer service I can call? I don’t understand how I am paying 149$ subscription monthly and no one is answering me and there is no number I can call.

Thank you.

Not losing weight?

I’ve been on compounded semaglutide with Ro since January and I have only lost 9 pounds. I used elevate health in the past but decided to go with Ro after giving birth in January and with elevate the weight dropped off so easily. I feel like my appetite is barely suppressed and I’ve been in a calorie deficit since starting and eating healthy, doing Pilates and barre 3-4 times a week. Does anyone feel like the concentration is off?! Or is it just postpartum hormones messing it up?

Confused about pricing

I’m sorry but I’m confused. How much does this program cost?
I pay for the medication and then I pay a separate membership? Where do I select the membership option I want? I see in this sub that there are some cheaper options than the monthly, but when in the process do I select that? Does it make me select the medication first and then I go select the membership option?
And I’m selecting the wegovy pill, what dose will I receive?

Not sure if it’s me, but I find this quite confusing.

do i need to re-do the assessment for the PA?

i filled out the questionnaire with my medical history and such and put in my insurance and all. now i keep getting texts and emails telling me my insurance is accepted and needs a prior authorization. when i click the link it makes me re-enter all of the medical history i already provided and the insurance again. do i need to fill it out again, or do they use the original answers i gave the other day for the prior authorization?

Wegovy pill. Anyone feel less at a higher dose?

I’m three months into oral Wegovy. At 1.5mg I felt nothing, but i understand that we start low to get used to the medication. At 4mg I had some pretty unpleasant side effects the first two weeks, but I also felt it working. I could actually leave food on my plate. My trips to the fridge became less frequent. The pull toward sugar wasn’t as strong. I felt its potential although I was still over eating quite a bit. Then I moved up to 9mg and I swear I’m taking a placebo. I feel absolutely nothing. I was nervous to go up because of how strong 4mg hit me at first. Now I’ve gained back some of what I lost and I’m eating everything in sight. I just spent hundreds of dollars to feel like I’m taking a sugar pill. Did anyone else feel less at a higher dose? How is that even possible?

🎉You can now edit your weight entries 🎉

One of the most common pieces of feedback I hear is:
“Why can’t I edit an incorrect weight entry?”

So, I’m very excited to announce that you can now edit your weight directly in the Ro app and web.

A couple quick notes:

  • You can edit and delete recent weight entries (up to 30 minutes back).
  • Additionally, if a weight entry looks off, we will now flag it to you before saving
  • Clinically recorded weights (like ones used for prescribing) won’t be editable
  • This works for both manual entries and Apple Health–synced weights

What you’ll now see when you log your weight:

This is part of a bigger push to make weight tracking actually useful (and not frustrating). We know a lot of people rely on this to understand progress, and inaccurate logs make that harder than it should be. We’re continuing to improve this experience, including making it easier to log weight in the first place and see your progress more clearly.

We’ve also made some updates to the Goals tab to make the most important info easier to find and understand:

If you run into anything weird or have more feedback, keep it coming. This community directly shaped this update.

I don’t want the 9mg, I want the lowest dose

I’m thinking of switching from 2.5 mg of Zepbound to the 0.8mg of its pill equivalent. I’m afraid to confirm this order because the confirmation screen has the 9mg dose listed!

Zepbound concern

So. I went to pick up my first month of injections. (I have had 3 shots before from a different program and have been off for 2 weeks waiting on RO)
I get to the pharmacy and they tell me “oh we had to send it back to the doctor for pre-authorization”…. excuse me what?!?! RO told me that my zepbound was covered without pre authorization, and then about a week later they said okay it’s all good to go, we have sent the zepbound to your local pharmacy for pick up.

I’m so upset because what is going on??? Now this is going to be even longer without being on the shot again, and I’m afraid of gaining the weight back because I have been resisting so many BE urges while waiting on this.

Weight Loss Journey Update: Sharing in the hopes of giving some of y’all peace of mind!

Hey fam!

So, I hit my weight loss goal of 60 lbs back in March (hold for applause), and moved from the “lose weight” dosage to the “maintain weight” dosage. As someone who’s yo-yoed with weight fluctuations my entire life, I had some serious fears that I would end up gaining it all back.

At first, after going on the lower dosage, my cravings did come back, and I found myself backsliding into old habits—grabbing ice cream and candy here and there when I could. Of course, I immediately thought this was the beginning of the end, and that I’d have to take my larger pants back out of storage.

BUT, I’m happy to report that’s not the case. It’s been almost 3 months since I moved to the lower dosage, and I’m still at the weight I want to be—even with the occasional ice cream and/or candy.

I guess the TLDR of this is: Don’t panic! The maintenance dosage works!
