On most recent canary build and it crashes immediately on launch on my mac m4 pro. Any advice?

So basically yesterday I was trying to play Tomodachi life ltd on ryujinx, I set everything up, but then when I tried to open up the game it crashed my laptop, the screen just went black and the fans started blowing loudly. It had a pretty hard time opening up after that

İt looks fine now. So far I did everything Gemini told me to do to not make it crash (changed it from Vulkan to OpenGL, cleared shader cache etc etc) but I'm still scared to open up the game so I wanted advice from another people.

(Btw it's a brand new gaming laptop, not like a bad or old one)

Hey folks, i am new to modding/emulation but i have been trying to figure out if anyone's working on a 60fps mod for tomodachi life: living the dream v1.0.3. I tried reverse-engineering the offset myself using Ghidra, found a byte-signature match for the relocated code and patched it but still stuck at 30fps in-game. Also curious if anyone can confirm whether theoriginal 1.0.2 mod actually achieves 60fps for them, since I haven't verified that myself yet either. Any pointers appreciated

Ryujinx keeps crashing while launching a game.

I’ve tired literally everything recommend to me and none of it has worked.

**(Yes I have the recent and updated firmware and driver. I’ve tried everything I could find on how to fix this. I’ve went through every step and NONE of it worked I’ve lost hope atp)**

Has any one had the same problem, and no fix yet as well?

I’m really gonna miss playing tomodachi life. I actually enjoyed some of it.

Edit: I’ve just updated the firmware TWICE and switched the graphics around. And it’s still crashing.

I need help, I can't run Splatoon 3 on Cachy OS with my Radeon 9070xt, the game only show a blackscreen. Any fix?

switching vulcan and opengl doesnt help, tried all 3 audio format doesnt help

hiii does anyone know how to transfer the whole ryujinx folder from one disk to another? i have no more space on my C: disk so i wanted to transfer my tomodachi life into the other one, but when i transferred the folder for my ryujinx, it still consumes storage from the C: disk when i save my tomodachi game

I tried every single thing under the sun but I can't get Link's Awakening to work. It simply crashes to desktop as soon as it initializes.

For reference, I used

• same ryubing version
• same firmware
• same keys
• same settings
• same 2 dumps

On both Windows and Arch Linux. On Windows, both dumps (LA and Echoes of Wisdom) work. On Linux, the LA one crashes every single time. No matter if Vulkan or OpenGL. Echoes works on Linux in both render backends.

Anyone have a clue why?

Does the Canary/Nightly version update or notify that updates are available?

I'm sure it used to, but now even when i ask it to Check for Updates it always says I’m using the most up-to-date version whether i am or not.

I’m trying to get Zelda TOTK running decently on Ryubing/Ryujinx on Arch Linux.

System:

• Arch Linux / Wayland
• Ryubing Flatpak 1.3.3
• CPU: i5-13420H
• GPU: RTX 4060 Laptop, Vulkan detected
• RAM: 16 GB
• Firmware: 22.5.0
• Game: TOTK base NSP
• Updates tested: 1.2.0 and 1.4.3

Settings tested:

• Vulkan
• NVIDIA GPU selected
• 1x/native resolution
• AA off
• FSR scaling
• Shader cache ON
• Macro HLE ON
• Docked mode OFF
• VSync OFF
• HostMappedUnsafe

Problems:

• On 1.2.0 vanilla, the game boots but FPS is low, around 16 FPS.
• Logs often say: GPU processing thread is too slow, waiting on CPU...
• On 1.2.0 with TOTK Optimizer, the optimizer mod crashes early with invalid memory access.
• On 1.4.3 vanilla, FPS dropped to around 7 FPS and Ryubing crashed with: PrepoService command ID: 10107 is not implemented
• On 1.4.3 with NX Optimizer / TOTK 3.0.0 profile, it also crashed early, likely due to version/mod mismatch.

I’m not trying to get 4K/120 FPS. I just want stable 30 FPS if possible.

Questions:

1. Which TOTK update is best for Ryubing Linux right now: 1.2.0, 1.4.2, or 1.4.3?
2. Should I avoid 1.4.3 on Ryubing because of the PrepoService crash?
3. Should I use NX Optimizer at all, and if yes, which profile/version?
4. Are there better settings for an RTX 4060 laptop on Arch/Wayland?
5. Should I use Flatpak, AppImage, or Canary instead?

Any help for a stable 30 FPS setup would be appreciated.

no youtube tutorials help. i'm playing zelda BOTW and can't load cheats. i've gone from canary to stable builds and it still won't work. the path:
[name] > AppData > Roaming > Ryujinx > cheats > 01007EF00011E000 > 8E9978D50BDD20B4.txt
i've also tried putting it in the mods folder, but i was advised to create a cheats folder after that didn't work.

version: first canary 1.3.269, then canary 1.3.315, then stable 1.3.3

I've been playing tomodachi life living the dream on ryujinx ryubing emulator, but its the wrong time zone. My game is hours ahead of my time. It's almost always the middle of the night in game when I play during the day and everyones sleeping but I'd like it to be the correct time, however, to change the time, it says to press the home button to get to the main menu.

I was using an xbox controller at first, no home button, maybe the big x button, but that opens up steam. Then, I borrowed some switch joycons to press the home button on those, but it just opened steam and didn't do anything on the game. This also means I can't make any other Islands or whatever else might be on the home screen that I never see. Does anyone know a solution?
