How did Emily get picked?

Fans never really resonated with her in DA. She brings in no type of star quality and Lexi is an amazing dancer as well so it’s not like she’s the “IT Dancer”. Her voice is also so shaky.

Saint Satine was made to compete with Girlset, but they’re already failing before debut

I can tell with the mature concept, Saint Satine is like HYBE’s version of Girlset. Except at least Girlset are all adults, and they’re involved in the creation of their sound, even if they don’t directly write or produce. Saint Satine might do the same, but if people are looking for an mature and R&B sound, they’re going to direct towards Girlset now that there’s a 16 year old in Saint Satine. And while Commas was a weak debut from Girlset, they came back swinging with Little Miss and Tweak. I don’t think Saint Satine’s sound is as strong, considering their 2 songs give off completely different vibes so far (in my opinion). I hope I’m not the only one who believes this.

Anyway, stan Girlset <3

The difference between Sakura vs Wonhee and Manon

I see a lot of posts* *comparing Sakura to Wonhee (ILLIT) or Manon (KATSEYE) and how they started out new and untrained but improved to the point where they are now super popular.

This is totally diffent than Sakura. Because even if Manon or Wonhee were relatively new trainees before their survival shows with not a lot of experience, they had public support which makes all the difference.

Because Manon and Wonhee were voted on the show because of their popularity, discourse about them was a lot less because a very high amount of people were ride or die for their favs. But with Sakura, the public is outraged by her debut. They do not think she was deserving.

What I’m trying to say is she probably shouldn’t have debuted. In this group at least. Having a person who is basically only a visual is fine if they are supported, but if they are as untalented as Sakura is and the public hates you, then they are not bringing anything to the team.

(I’m also not saying Wonhee is untalented, I am aware she had a very stable voice in performances, she just wasn’t at the same level as other contestants at the time)

this group feels like a joke 🫩

okay so, im not exactly a hardcore kpop nor katseye fan or anything like that but this group is such a fucking joke.

i mean, we’ve got samara thats a racist that carries the group herself by half-good singing, emily thats a visual hole so bad not even plastic surgery can save her boring ass, lexie who has a very mean girl vibe and is also so awkward, and sakura who cant dance, cant sing, and it feels like she was added into the group as bait.

it all feels like this group lineup couldnt have been worse at this point and its like they just put random girls from dream academy together and give them whatever vocal songs they have left of the katseye SIS era.

i feel genuinely so bad for all these girls but let’s be so real none of them should be in this lineup. couldnt they have done another global audition if they wanted another global group (not that saint satine is very global…the lineup is just 2 white girls, an afro-latina girl and a japanese kid forced together as if they have visual chemistry.) so bad?i just don’t get it.

Saint Satine is already irrelevant

The main saintsatine reddit page and prelude page are already losing viewers. Hybe Geffen effectively killed off their group with picking Sakura and marketing her in the worst way. They have decent streams on their spotify somehow, but with all the bad marketing (somehow they picked the most boring girls in the world). Literally stopped watching past the ikea vlog and their first live because ive never seen anything more awkward. They should just scrap this whole group.
