John’s Billy doll was based off something he made for his kid when he was a normal guy. It’s either A.) a huge coincidence that both men would independently design similar puppets a century apart or B.) John was already a fanboy of the Judge before he lost his unborn child, was diagnosed with cancer and adopted his philosophy and thought something based off a creepy murder puppet from a hundred years ago would make for a nice doll for his kid.
