My bf went to college for a year, but he dropped out, and his GPA was 0.3. So, his only option really is Suffolk County since they do not require college credit. However, he doesn’t have any experience in anything related to security. He has had a job for a little over a year. He is pretty scared of the exam since he has told me that studying is not his thing, but he will do his best. He already paid for the exam next year. Does anyone have any recommendations? I just want him to get started as soon as possible. I’m not really sure if this matters, but he is pretty athletic and strong but super skinny, like Timothée Chalamet skinny. I’m not sure if that’s something they measure in the exams. He was also smoking weed consistently for a LONG time, like four years, but he recently quit. He is now one month clean and is staying that way, so I’m not sure if that matters either. If anyone could help me, that would be great. I really see a future with this guy, but I need him to get a real job asap, and being a police officer is one of the few jobs you can get without a degree that could pay good.

Was accepted into the CO academy the other day to start at the end of the month. I accepted the offer but am now having some doubts about it. Would it be too late to defer to the next academy until a potential better offer for a PO position comes up ?

Hey guys so I was wondering this test is going by pretty slow but just following trends does anyone know if the last class normally tend to be bigger or is it the same size ?

Does anyone know if suffolk villages take the NCPD academy? Just curious since I might move out east.

When they ask for the motor vehicle accident report is that JUST for accident outside Suffolk county? Meaning if I’ve only had 1 in Suffolk county I don’t need it?

And then a follow up if I had a speeding ticket do I need to get a criminal court disposition for the findings?
