I had a baby 13 months ago and it was the most metal thing ever. I’m not an amazing musician but i can play drums, simple guitar/ bass and sing. If there’s any other moms out there that feel like starting a simple garage (. I have a garage) band we can write short songs about how wild and weird having a kid is. Just an idea / no pressure.

Show is sold out and I’m just looking to get face value ($40 each)
I will pay triple the amount of money to go see the Rosenstock 9/2 or Lawrence Arms on 9/5.
So if you have a ticket or extra ticket that can’t make it, I will buy!
Why are so many bands scheduled to play Sacramento and not San Francisco?
All my favorite bands are playing in Sacramento where they used to come to SF
I feel its probably cheaper for them to play in Sac
Thoughts?
Hello all I’m going to a concert soon at the Warfield and I’m always hearing how bad car break ins are around the Bay. Wondering if anyone has structures that they have found to been safe or use all the time? Thanks
Hi guys, I have 2 tickets to the Jay park show in San Francisco, CA from ticketmaster. Unfortunately, I will be working that night and dont want the tickets to go to waste. Is anyone interested in buying? Please DM.

Looking for musicians to collaborate with and potentially start a band. I am a 21 y/o Bassist/Vocalist and I have been playing for 10 years. My biggest influences are Type O Negative, early Black Sabbath, Candlemass, and Tool.
Not trying to sound like a clone of any one band, but I’m drawn to:
- heavy riffs/groove
- haunting/melancholic atmosphere
- melodic vocals
- dynamic songwriting
- emotional/introspective lyrics
- songs that actually build mood instead of nonstop shredding
Bass style: I am pretty versatile. I can play anything from Fieldy style percussive slap to Lemmy style distorted power chords. Biggest bass influences are Peter Steele, Mike Starr, Charles Michael Parks (ATW), and of course Geezer. I have a solid rig and I primarily play a 4 string tuned to B standard.
Vocal style: I sing in a Bass/Baritone range. My vocal influences are Glenn Danzig, Peter Steele, Jim Morrison, Sully Erna, late 90s Hetfield.
Im currently based in the Sacramento area, but I am not locked down here if you catch my drift. I am very serious about music and plan on eventually creating albums, playing shows, touring, etc. If you have a similar vision of mine and want to connect please dm me. Especially reach out if you are in your 20s, and play guitar, drums, or keys.
I’m sick so can’t make it anymore. :( If you’d like I’ll send a video recording of the tickets and/ or do it over FaceTime. It’s in lower balcony 1.
