Hey guys my rank is around 21.6k , I might get Ise in R4 as last year's cutoff was near 27k. Is there a big difference between Cse and Ise like syllabus and academics. Also do ise students get same opportunities as Cse students in placement.

Also I heard the college is very strict so can anyone explain that.

How much money is required at time of joining SIT hostels at first time(like how much months of advance payment and any extra) for the first year.

I had been aiming for other colleges as well but comedk cutoffs are scaring me, I'm almost sure I might get ise in round 4 here, a little chance for cse in nie(not sure about this as it lost affiliation) and ise in bit(this is the one im aiming for, acc to prism i will get it but who knows?)

Do they get the same opportunities as cse students?

Is the syllabus and faculty same? Why are someone saying ise is stricter?

I already know about the hectic attendance and schedule.

Is there anything else I should know?

Well now I'm stuck in limbo my rank is 11.6k and I got SIT CSE in R3 and did accept and upgrade now I've to choose weather to go to sit or wait for jss stu ise which I will certainly get in R4.

So I'm really confused now let's be honest the crazy pr of jss has confused many of us. Jss is really on decline tbh but for sit I've seen its campus and evrything it's really good including its hostel.

But is it really that strict which people claims? Like that strict?

I'm really confused now man.

Sit also have much more holidays than jss so more time for internship or outings.

I have doubts about taking partial drop from sit tumkur

1. If I got good percentile in jee in jan attempt and I want to leave the college before first year ends will I have to pay the whole 4 years fees as penalty?

2. And will they hold my documents and will not grant me my transfer certificate?

Need help regarding admission process.

Hello, I want to join sit cse and probably will be getting it in r3(or aiml in r3 and cse in r4), but it might be difficult for me to attend physical reporting of round 3 (r3 deadline is 24 August).

Is it feasible if I opt for accept and upgrade in r3 on my cse seat and then physically report college in r4.

(My preference list is as follows:

1 sit cse

2 sit aiml

3 sit ise

So even if I opt for accept and upgrade (even if I get aiml and then get cse by r4 as per last year's cutoff i.e. 18k for cse, my rank 150xx) I will get my desirable seat only as it is the best I could get at my rank)

Also please tell if can I stay in college hostel before actual course starts as it is not logistically easy for me go back and forth from hometown to hostel this frequently.

1. I have a rank of 21.1k in comedk , I may get ISE in round 4 , I heard ise is very strict , how strict is it ? Like do students get time to do dsa/projects on their own ?

2. How hard is it to maintain a good cgpa ?

3. Will i get hostel rooms in round 4 ?

4. Is there a language barrier in the college/hostel . I am from north .

5. What are the timings of classes and how many holidays do you get ?

6. What about events like hackathons and stuff , as it's not in bangalore.

If an average student n like i can get 9lpa in bmsit .
