ik this is another summer classes post but i have to ask. would 2 classes be fine for summer? i am taking an art class and us gov (12 weeks) and i was a part time student for spring sem (9 credits) would this be too much of a workload? i was told for summer classes to take half of what you normally take for a 16 week sem but idk, any advice would be appreciated 🩷

Chem 1115

Are lab coats and goggles required for the Chem 1115 lab? Like, should I buy them for the first day of lab or will I be okay waiting? I am just a little confused lol

Easy Gen Ed Classes

Howdy y'all. I'm trying to get my General Education Certificate at SLCC before transferring to the University of Utah (I would have transferred this semester, but I missed the deadline because I was working on taxes), and was wondering if y'all have any suggestions for easy classes.

So far, I have Written Communication 1 and 2 covered with Eng 1010 and 2010, Quantitative Literacy covered with Math 1030, American Institutions covered with Hist 1700, and Social Science covered with Psy 1010, leaving Arts, Humanities, Life Science, and Physical Science. I want to do Art 1010 for Arts, so I'm looking for suggestions for the other three. I plan to pursue a degree in Game Design at the U, in case that helps with suggestions.

End of semester grades?

I completed my final on May 5th, and while the teacher has immediately released our grades in Canvas all semester, our final quiz grade was withheld until the end of the semester.

The academic calendar says that final grades for the spring semester would be released today but it’s still showing for ACCT 1050 as withheld & no overall grade for the semester. Has anyone else’s been released yet and maybe this teacher is just behind or do they usually run late? This is my first course I’ve taken without knowing my grade immediately after the final.

So I found out today I got a B+ in Anatomy, It's really not what I wanted and I was really aiming for a A in the class, I am also re-taking my stat's course this summer semester in hopes of getting a A as well. I am already registered but I want some other's opinion's, thanks!

Anatomy Professors

I was originally registered for Andy Munguia (sp?) for Anatomy but it switched to Elizabeth Romrell. Has anybody had her? If so, what can I expect?

Deanna Lara Anatomy Lab

Hi everyone! I’m currently enrolled to take anatomy lab with Joanne Stosich at the Taylorsville campus and the lecture at the Jordan campus (with Melissa Jacobsen). I’ve heard great things about Joanne but I’d prefer not to drive to two different campuses so I was looking into some of the lab sections available at the Jordan campus. The only lab section there that works for my schedule would be with Deanna Lara and I’m wondering if anyone has had this professor for lab before. I can’t find any rate my professor reviews so any input would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Print grades

My daughter goes to SLCC and I need to print her grades for tuition reimbursement. I can’t find any location that has the grades, the semester, her name and the school name. I see the classes and grades card, but I can’t see a way to print, and just a screenshot of that wouldn’t work because it doesn’t say her name or the school. Any help?

Final Grade Appeal

Just wondering if anyone has ever appealed a final Grade, a professor I have for an online class says that the Canvas grade isnt the grade that will be posted, I have a B- on canvas, but after checking MySLCC the final grade posted is D+, and so far my professor isn't telling me what or why the difference was caused by.
