Classic Istanbul Neg - Fujifilm SOOC JPEG look

Hi everyone,

I have been testing a Fujifilm film simulation recipe I made for SOOC JPEG shooting and wanted to share a few straight-out-of-camera sample frames for feedback.

The recipe is called Classic Istanbul Neg.

It is built around Classic Negative and came from the kind of light I often notice in Istanbul: pale skies, warm street details, stone walls, ferries, crowds, birds, and everyday city movement.

I wanted it to feel flexible rather than location-specific. The goal was a SOOC look with some Istanbul character, but still something that could work in other streets, weather, people, and light too.

The look I was aiming for is warm without becoming too vintage, colorful without feeling too digital, with natural blues, soft highlights, and a documentary street mood.

A small exposure note: +1/3 EV can be a useful starting point in cloudy light, shaded streets, or scenes that feel a little too dark. Adjust depending on the light.

Shot SOOC on Fujifilm X100VI with the fixed 23mm lens.

I would appreciate honest feedback on the color, contrast, and overall JPEG rendering, especially from anyone who shoots SOOC in different cities or lighting conditions.

For the full recipe settings and more sample photos, I shared them in my latest Instagram post under sefafilms.
