Just curious - does anyone know why Sarabhai vs Sarabhai used a laugh track?
In shows like Friends, the laughter came from a live studio audience, so it made sense. But Sarabhai vs Sarabhai seems to use a recorded laugh track.
I don’t find it irritating at all; I’m just curious about the reason behind it. Was it a creative choice, a TV industry trend at the time, or something else?
