Martin Lewis Scam Warning (2026): £20 million has already been lost - here's how to protect yourself.

Fraudsters are now using AI to generate deepfake videos that clone Martin Lewis's voice and face from his real TV appearances. The videos are genuinely difficult to distinguish from real footage - they're appearing on Facebook, Instagram, Google ads, WhatsApp and even MSN News, and they're promoting fake investment platforms, most commonly one called Quantum AI.

The ads are highly realistic and it shows Martin Lewis promoting investment and crypto opportunities to earn large returns through their platform. Once you engage, the scammers will call, email and pressure you into sending funds.

Once you have sent the funds you will see your profits increase through the fake platform. They will then pressure you into sending more and more until you want to withdraw your funds.

This is where most people realise they are the victim of a scam; The scammers prevent the withdrawals and ask for further fees in order to release them.

If you have sent funds then It is important you do not send any further fees as this will not release the funds and this is another part of the scam.

Unfortunately, this type of scam is becoming more and more prevalent with the advancements of AI technology.

Martin Lewis has explicitly said he does not promote any investments and any ads with his face on it are likely a scam.

We have written a full guide on how you can protect yourself from this and what you can do if you've been the victim of this scam.

is it normal for an investigation service to ask for nothing and still assess your case

i’m trying to not get burned twice so i’m being paranoid on purpose

i’ve been looking at services that say they can help by producing an investigation style report you can use for disputes and complaints i saw Influere Investigations mentioned a few times when i searched my broker name

my question is about process not hype if a company can assess your case without asking for the boring stuff first, is that a red flag

like if they don’t ask for timeline, receipts, withdrawal screenshots, chats what are they basing anything on

for people who used any report or investigation service what did a normal intake look like and what’s an instant nope
