Armstrong-D.U.: My first screenplay became the only animated project selected to Kinolime's 2026 Script-to-Screen Feature Competition Top 26.
I wrote Armstrong-D.U., a 3D animated family feature, and kept develiping it over the past nine months and I'm looking to make the pitch document as best as posible since after getting into Kinolime contest and positive coverage some producers and agents are willing to read the script.
Logline:
When a disabled boy discovers a forgotten war robot sealed beneath his city's perfect safety dome, their unlikely friendship forces his family to choose between the safety the system promises and his freedom to play.
Positioning:
Armstrong-D.U. is a four-quadrant 3D animated family adventure with the emotional heart of The Iron Giant, set in a dystopian world brought to life through comedy and satire.
Project milestones so far:
- Top 26 finalist in Kinolime’s 2026 Script-to-Screen Feature Competition (the only animated project selected).
- Highly favorable professional screenplay coverage.
- Completed feature screenplay.
- 24-minute independently produced rough animatic.
- Currently being shared with literary managers and producers.
I’m a Chilean creator developing this project independently with very limited resources, using concept art and animatics to visualize the world and characters and community feedback to polish the final draft so far.
You can also find more information by searching “Armstrong-D.U.” online.
I'm planning to send this curriculum with the pitch document to raise interest, tell me what do you think, any feedback, even negative is welcomed.
I share the pitch document here, it's just two pages, feel free to read it and give me your impressions:
