I did just finish the show…

I want to say that the show jumped the shark but they didn’t. They would be the ones to start the zombie apocalypse 300%. Yeah, it all makes sense.

WTF JUST HAPPENED???

So, I just finished the whole show. And season 5 was... well... weird in a bad way? Idk, tbh I'm just flabbergasted, to say the least. It just made me so confused since I loved every single season so fucking much except the last one which was absolutely bonkers?

I know the last two seasons get a lot of hate, but I wonder if there's anyone who loved season 4 as much as the first three seasons but basically hated season 5?

Edit: grammar and spelling

One of the people camped out waiting for Dory to bring enlightenment in S5E9 has a novelty shirt from the trial!

518?

Just binged the show and In the S4 finale >!a twink gives Portia 3 numbers that came to him in a vision of her!<

518

Was this ever called back in season 5? (That perhaps I missed?)

Just finished for first time

I loved seasons 1-3, 4 was ok… season 5 I honestly don’t even know wtf I just watched lol

For the arrested development fans out there, it’s funny, cause I could totally see Maeby doing all of this… especially leading a cult.

What is Dory’s real birthday?

I hate that I notice these things, but I do 🫩 so was she born on 10/31/88 or 04/18/89? Damn you, TV gods, for being so annoying.

Underrated jokes/gags

There are several scenes that consistently get quoted as "funniest" - the roundabout scene in season 4, border crossing in season 2, Jesper Society in season 5. I'm rewatching now for the millionth time and trying to take note of underappreciated jokes that don't often get mentioned.

Which are your favorite?

Here are some of mine:

-Hot Baby, the hot sauce for babies

-The entire concept of Surviving Essex, such a perfect parody of the plethora of police procedurals with really dumb premises

-Liquorice calling Chantal CHAN-tuhl

-When the second chair prosecuting attorney goes up to Polly and says "I have good news and bad news" and she makes him leave and do it again

-Leading Women to Lead lady: "They're all Greek, which is... new... for us"

Chantal love

I've heard a lot of people don't like Chantal but surprisingly her story is my favorite part of Search Party!

Quotes

- I may be a 10 but I am NOT perfect

- well I'm just getting used to it. The food is legit yummy! >!regarding prison!<

- this isn't Witherbottom. This is rock bottom

- when people see me they think heartbreak

Favorite moment: >!when she's on stage and Wilma tells people to stop clapping but the applause button is stuck so she gets seemingly endless applause !<

Share the Chantal love!

Wtf is the last season??

Just finished the show and I’m genuinely dumbfounded. What the fuck happened? Did the writers just get bored and say “fuck it”?
