Hi friends, let me explain, in the IE religions (that includes my religion, the Hinduism), the celtic one is commonly called Druidism, the Germanic Asatru or Vanatru, the Hellenic, Hellenism, the Roman, "Religio Romana"/Religio/Via Romana, the Slavic "Perunism/Rodnovery", there are specific names for Caananite,Phoenician, Aramean,Philistean and Arab religions? I know worship of Assyrian & Babylonian Pantheons are sometimes called "Ashurism" and "Mardukism"

I’ve recently been diving into researching historical beliefs on death and the afterlife which has me curious about what others think on the topic. Personally I don’t yet have a fully formed understanding of the subject, with my personal ideas mostly being a blend of Mesopotamian and Egyptian influences. Currently I see the afterlife as not being much different to regular life, except perhaps more unpleasant for the dead who don’t receive regular care. With that said, please share your thoughts in the comments!
