I created this logo concept for the 2030 FIFA World Cup with the help of Photoshop and a bit of AI.
I tried to include specific elements from all three host countries: Spain, Portugal and Morocco. My idea was to move away from the very minimal/basic style of the 2026 World Cup logo and bring back a more traditional World Cup identity, closer to designs like 2014 and 2018, with stronger symbolism and a more recognizable visual style.
What do you think? Could the official 2030 World Cup logo look something similar, with a more classic approach while still representing the three host nations?
I would love to see a collar but know most would disagree.
My group and I used design thinking in order to make these. After talking to people we came to the conclusion that many of them didn't like that the maple leaf seems to repeat itself a lot in canadian representation and wanted something new that still represented the country. To solve that problem we used some inspiration from the topology of famous canadian mountains and parks, as well as indigenous inspired art in order to try and unify the country and speak to their roots.
Had to redesign some world cup merch for one of my classes. Where trying to see if people would like it. If anyone could help with their opinion or answering this small survey (max 3 min) it would really help. Thanks
