How do you aim in melee range vs spam jump AD strafers?

tbh this is more of a ball question, but my soldier homies know how to shoot shit better than anybody. I ran into a higher ranked widow, and suddenly couldn't land a single shot.

Do you mirror strafe? If so, do you jump with them? At a distance, tracking the arc of a jump is super easy, but up close, I get mad lost.

These changes to Soldier76 from the new mode would actually be some fire changes to his base kit in the main game too

With the Biotic Field one without the push mechanic too it would already be good if the Field would follow him around

And Tactical Visor targeting multiple enemies would make it more dangerous and maybe not a cosmetic ult after years of being that

No upcoming Soldier skins

Is soldier just getting no love? I know he's got his mythic but no upcoming skins especially with the collabs that they're doing. He is one of the most played but is always lackluster when it comes to skins

Justice for Biotic field

I was looking at the hero's weapons and I noticed that the soldier's healing ability didn't have a lot of alterations and major changes in design only three had different ones (survivor 76, grill master 76, and grill zombie 76) all the other ones are just recolors of the basic one.

Aim assist vs no aim assist

Trying to learn how to aim without aim assist so i could hold up with my pc friends in comp. This is my first day but i think im doing alright so ill try to keep it up.

What aim settings worked out best for you when playing Soldier76 on console?

I been playing him for a while now but I feel my performance on him is unpredictable cuz sometimes my aim is good but other times it's downright bad

What aim settings do you have for him that worked out for you and it's not aim assist doing the full work?
