Here’s a recording I made with my photon smasher microphone of some lighting fixtures in Southend on sea, Essex (England). I was totally blown away when I heard the sound from the mic. I’ve added a little EQ and reverb in post, but that’s all.

What you can hear is the PWM of the slowly fading LEDs - probably my favourite field recording (so far at least).

Grabbed this rock from a construction site to make into a mailbox or bike park feature and discovered the lovely sound it makes. Was thinking of mounting it by my sidewalk so the people can bonk some sick beats. If I bury the fat end less than a foot I think it will stay upright but not sure it’ll still produce a good sound. Could also have it balance on another rock like it is now but don’t want it to be tippable. What would you do with it?
