The glorification of the Aztecs these days is going too far.
Of course, it isn't on the level of the Black Legend, where the Spanish slaughtered tens of millions of Native Americans and Taíno people through physical violence and slavery, but doesn't it still feel somewhat anti-Spanish and make the Aztecs seem kinder than they actually were?
It seems Redditors view the Aztecs in a strangely positive light, and they seem to see a different side of them than we do. Which side is closer to the truth about the Aztecs?
