Just finished this this morning. Saw an old Reddit post with the OP explaining and I copied it lol

Hi everyone! So I wanted to paint my mobility scooter (I'm disabled) and followed these instructions:

1- I sanded the surface of the device (made of plastic)

2- I I applied a primer for plastics (spray) and let it dry. [Product: MTN-WEPRO-Imprimacion-Plasticos ]

3- I applied 4 thin layers of gold rose spray paint. I let each layer dry before applying the next. [Product: MTN WEPRO Pintura Metalizada ]

The result is the one you can see in the pictures, fully dried.

Do you guys have any advice on how can I even out the colour and the surface before varnishing it?

Please don't be mean: I contacted several body and paint shops in my area and was refused service because they asked me to dismantle the device and only to bring them the parts that were to be painted. And I didn't have a clue how to do it, and was afraid to do so. So they said they wouldn't paint it...

surface is fresh sand blasted and cleaned and is perfectly flat but paint is laying down in this almost hammered effect. I tried warming the paint in hot water and warming the part but that didn’t make a difference. I’ve painted a lot of parts with the same process and never had this problem. only thing I can think of is the temperature is lower than normal but still well above the minimum temp for the paint.

I'm trying to source emerald green custom spray paint from rustoleum and I just cannot find it anywhere. They don't have it at autozone, lowes, home depot, and I can't even find it online for order anywhere. Only place I could find it is some person selling it on ebay! Does this paint just not exist anymore? If it does, where can I find it?

Made a instrument panel for my boat out of aluminum. Painted it and then clear coated but got some bugs in the clear coat. After it dried I lightly sanded with 220 then wet sanded with 1000 and repainted. Let it dry for 24hrs. Just sprayed with clear and it immediately did thiswhen wet Going to sand it all off and start again but not sure why the clear made all these spider web designs when I sprayed it.

Had a can of white enamel come in missing all the important bits. Wtf do I do with this now? Looking for more than throw it away. I don't like tossing mini grenades into trash compactors.
