Old School head ID?

Just strung this up for a customer. Any idea what head this is? Looks like a brine edge but I don’t know if I’m correct or not. Lax geniuses let me know!!

Need some guidance for women's Valkyrie

I'm not new to stringing traditional. However, I've not tried a women's stick. My young niece had a beginner's stick and after picking it up, I could see that it will hinder development and enjoyment.

So I went and bought an STX Aria and I had already bought the Valkyrie mesh that I had planned to putting in the $50 stick. It seemed like a waste. I started off on the left by loosely doing cross-lace similar (less the twist over itself) to how you would do a Rock-it-Pocket.

Before I get too far into it, I guess I should ask if there is a reason that a similar approach usually isn't taken (the standard traditional cross-lace like on the left). The right side, I did the weird sidewall for the sake of this example.

Is there a reason that I've only seen these with the odd sidewall (right)? I haven't messed around with women's sticks enough to know if the traditional approach on the left is going to make the pocket odd or throw funny. I'd of course redo the left, tighten it up and twist them over like a Rock-it-Pocket style. Should I stick with the weird sidewall like on the right?

Can anyone suggest a source for thinner cross-lace? I think the standard stuff looks silly with the thinner chord used by the Valkyrie portion.

Thanks

First time traditional help

I’ve strung many heads before but I wanted to try my way at a traditional I thought I did good until I threw it and it went straight into the floor I tried restarting it and I got the same result this is very frustrating to unstring and restring so many times I’m wondering if there’s any tips to help form a pocket

Help restoring Patterson wooden stick

Was tasked by a friend to restore his old crib stick… Wood looks to be in good shape, but the pocket is dry rotted. Any advice on sourcing leathers this size? What should I use for this “gutwall”? The string is very thick and feels coated.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Second head I’ve ever strung up

My first time stringing a head went terribly but this time it was flawless I chose the Chenango top string for my dads old brine ripper he used. How does it look?

First Woody Rebuild

Gave it good sanding, staining, and restring. Was super fun 10/10, would recommend.

Dye Type Help

A family in a few different sports with my boys has started up a business and has a couple kids in the lacrosse program. Their branding is neon pink and neon green with black and white accents. I tried to mockup a head with their colors using ChatGTP as my oldest is starting to get into dyeing heads along with stringing them. Can you please recommend the dyes that you’ve had luck matching the colors of the attached images? Do certain heads take these colors better? I believe a white head will work much better than clear plastics.

Paracord

Is paracord really not good for stringing. I’ve seen so many videos on people saying there knotts don’t stay tight over time when using 275 rather then normal jimalax strings.
Could someone give me a breakdown of the difference and what’s overall better/keeps knotts over time.

Struggling dying goalie head

I have an ECD impact clear goalie head and I can't get the dye to take.

- I'm using rit dye synthetic, Kentucky sky blue, 3 bottles

- I've added dish soap

- I have boiled the water, let it sit in a container for hours, nothing. The container turned blue though

- I got a large pot, held a boil at 200C. Dipped, let it sit, still nothing

I've tried looking online, AI said to use acetone or scrub it with a brillo pad, it did show any references so I won't be doing that

What am I missing here?

Edit: I am using rit dye more

Daughter wanted a restring. I’ve never played lacrosse, had no idea what I was doing. But I stayed at a holiday inn, watched a couple YouTube videos. Took about 6 Miller Lites to get this finished last night. Doesn’t look the best, but my daughter is super happy, that’s what matters to me.

TMD 12D romb on a Nemi 3 for my 12U boy

Just a Lax Dad/ rec team assistant stringing up a stick for his kid. Not too deep for the little dude or not so little dude. Yes I broke it in It controls rebounds better than iss other stick with SS G3. The only issue is he likes a smoother release for clear passes and this has a catch point/more whip than he would like. He can make it work but his clear passes are not as consistent. Any ideas on tweaks or improvements to give him a cleaner outlet? Thanks in advance.

Is there anyway to make a warrior evo v be a better shooter?

I have a brand new evo v and really just am not feeling the shape at all. I think I need to pinch it or try to get rid of it. Anyone suggest anything to make it a better attack head/shooter? I really am stumped. Unless someone is looking for one lmk! lol

Beginner Question

My son (he turns 12 next week) is primarily a LSM. His coach strung this head for him and today the top string broke. He’s done for summer season so I’m going to try to restring it for him and see if I can come up with something respectable before fall starts.

Here’s my question - do I need to redo the whole thing and get new mesh? Or is it okay or just do a new top string?

Kitten picture for attention. Other pictures for information.

Vapor Elite Head

Had a couple of vapor elites come across my bench recently and started to notice how similar they were to the og CEO. So I started wondering why don’t we see more men’s league players using them? They are usually pretty cheap on sideline swap and plenty of late 20s early 30s guys like myself were using the CEO as an offensive head before the fogos realized how good it was. Is it mostly that men’s league players don’t buy much gear?
