Hi there! I’ve been toying with the idea of starting a sticker business and just wanted to pop in here to chat with you all!

I love painting/drawing/watercolor, and I’m really into junk journaling. I’d love to sell some of my art as stickers on Etsy and see where it goes from there.

My husband is against the idea of getting a printer since we won’t know how well I’d do (sigh)… my idea is to create 3-4 sticker sheets and sell them on Etsy.

Any words of advice and encouragement will be greatly appreciated!

I’ve been seeing a couple artists at recent markets with stickers that have this matte but sandy feeling texture laminate but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. It’s not holographic, not really reflective.

The artist just told me they found it online haha don’t think they wanted to share, which I can understand, but I just loveee it! Anybody know what I’m talking about?

I would love to begin making and selling stickers, but I am not sure whether to go through a manufacturer or purchase a machine (vinyl cutter, cricut, etc). I know many of the artists I follow do use a manufacturer, but I’ve also heard it’s easy to start making your own at home. I would love some tips and advice!!
