does anyone else prefer listening to the music video rather than the actual version? i feel like its more dreamy and calming in a sense, dont get me wrong i love them both but the music video version is just so good omg

A lot of the accusations addison gets around being inauthentic and manufactured are due to people thinking that she wants to be the next Britney
But what if that's not the case?
What if addison was using those Britney/Madonna/janet/lana/lexee influences just to poke fun of this 2000s popstar glamorous life and the indie sleaze than anything serious
I mean the music videos, pap walks outfits and the live sets gives off that vibes and a song like "money is everything" was intentionally satirical than anything serious (which makes the Madonna clip with her more hilarious)
And "fame is a gun" is such a ragebait anthem, it makes fun of the haters trying to go after her with her responding saying that she has the glamorous life y'all idolise anyway

I saw a post here saying that Addison has scrapped 4 music videos, which is true, but I got more into it.
As you all know, Addison has teased an Moneyâs Everything music video back when her tour started. We all know the pics. There were 4 music videos meant to be done, âNew Yorkâ, âMoney is Everythingâ, âIn The Rainâ, âSummer Foreverâ. In early January, Addison has teased a new music video, I will leave u the teaser below and will not include the Money is everything ones so they arenât mistaken.
The weird thing is that all of those teasers including the Money is Everything teasers and the new one that she posted in January are not on her Instagram page anymore.
She has also unfollowed Lexee Smith (her creative director) and Lexee has done the same.
Addison hasnât teased any music and it is already May. Teasers of music videos now getting deleted..?! What do you think is going on?
I love Times Like These. Itâs so nostalgic, but happy and about living in the moment I think. Just perfection.
Also High Fashion. It gives some sort of vibe I canât describe well but itâs amazing.
Also Addison is the first artist Iâve liked their whole album in the first listen. Itâs just incredible. I love her so much.
As you have probably seen lately, Addison has been teasing the new era frequently. She has been teasing the words âFreedomâ & âControlâ. She has teased it at Coachella and also it is her second spams username (freedomandcontrol).
This era is more mysterious, Madonna vibes, red ish and black as seen from her red hair era and Lollapalooza performances & The Wildlands.
Her album could also be called âAs Long As Iâm Dancingâ as her first spam ever created was called âaslongasimdancingâ and that her sub-label is called âAs Long As Iâm Dancing LLCâ formerly called âARXOXO LLCâ.
So what do we think?
on her freedom and control account she posted the ep of a band who is also from lafayette louisiana. which 1) love that sheâs supporting local artist thatâs so cool to see! abd 2) THEYRE SO GOOD.
They all have such different vibes but they flow so well and easily are my favorites from the album.

I (M/25) have a strange history with Addison. From the time she blew up on TikTok to only 2 months ago, I really disliked her and thought she was a vapid industry plant who had no right being as popular as she was. But after the story of her striking down that ICE video with her song in it and the pics of her at the Grammys came out, I started to change my tune and fully did when I watched various interviews with her and realized sheâs probably the sweetest person in the world. Iâm genuinely really interested in her as a person and I dig and relate to how sheâs had so many setbacks, but keeps picking herself back up and smiling away. Like I read stuff about whatâs she put up with in her past and Iâm horrified, especially because a lot of people seem to respond by making up lies that sheâs a coke-addicted MAGAt because I can tell thatâs not true (I can 100% tell she has ADHD like she said bc I also have it). But for a while, I didnât really listen to her music because I felt like it wouldnât appeal to me. Not that I thought it would be bad, but Iâm a straight white guy so I just didnât think it would be my thing. Today, I finally listened to her album andâŠunfortunately my fears were correct.
Iâm really sorry, but I didnât like it. I didnât HATE it mind you, itâs decently well written and produced, just not my thing and not what I wouldâve expected if I solely knew her from her interviews. My problem isnât the common criticism she keeps getting that itâs âinauthenticâ, thatâs BS, rather itâs that it seems like she has a lot of interesting stuff on her mind but isnât too sure right now how to convey that in a way that feels uniquely to her personality. Iâve heard people say that sheâs working on her style and will evolve, but considering how commercially and critically successful her album was, Iâm worried that weâll just get more of that stuff.
But I feel awful that I disliked it because again, I LOVE her as a person and I hate the idea of not being able to understand why all of you enjoyed it so much. It genuinely makes me super sad, but unfortunately I have to say itâs not my thing, although Iâll always appreciate and love Addison :(
so remember the teaser we had for "money is everything" mv that had lexee on it, yeah, I doubt we'll see any of it after both girls fell out
I think addison toned down a bit on her over the top y2k aesthetic after the fall out(probably in some agreement between her and lexee so they won't get any drama out of it)
and I don't think we'll get the same music video quality as we had before
but the good thing is, maybe with the aesthetic being a bit toned down many people who didn't like addison for her over the top vibe before can get into her
I do think addison had a hand in her aesthetic but a lot of it felt borrowed from lexee
Literally people just wanna call anybody who succeeds an industry plant. This video's complete BS
