Kasa camera takes forever to load

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve the performance of the Kasa camera? My WiFi connection at home is excellent. We work from home without any issues running heavy software, and all our meetings are conducted over Zoom without any problems. However, it takes an incredibly long time for the Kasa cameras to load. I have two cameras set up, and I’m so frustrated because it takes forever to load. As a result, I often end up physically checking on my baby because the camera detects motion, but I can never access the live video. It takes an eternity to load. Are these cameras simply just trash, or is there something I can do to improve their performance?

Kasa Outdoor Smartplug Has Terminally Failed Twice

Apparently not at all waterproof. Not even really water resistant.

How are you all using these things? I'm concerned if it goes into a waterproof box the wireless signal may be very limited.

Thoughts?

Sudden Persistent House-wide Failure

I have 5 HS220 and 5 ks225 switches. They worked flawlessly for 2 years until July 15. Then all at once every one of them disconnected for no discernible reason. I cannot reconnect them from the kasa or tapo app. Resetting the switch results in momentary connectivity before disconnecting again. My wifi is working fine and is IOT 2.4ghz. Other non-kasa devices work. I have lowered the security level on the router to minimum. I've tried just about every help page or AI suggestion I can find. Anyone experience anything similar?

Remove wires???

I have newer Kasa switches, the model is HS200(CA) ver 5.20

How do I remove these wires? Or once in, its permanent?

The back is smooth, no pinholes or anything anywhere that I can see.

I also removed the label and there was nothing under there.

Camera Schedule Stopped Working

Hello!

I've had my Kasa Pan/Tilt Camera for about a year now.

I already checked the troubleshooting guide as well as reddit so here I am hoping one person has any ideas.

I have my schedule setup and for about 4 days now it won't turn on or off when it is supposed to. I have to turn it on/off manually.

Here are the steps I've already taken to try to fix it;

Unplugged device Restarted WiFi Deleted and remade the schedule Synced the timezone Factory reset device Talked sweetly to device Checked for app update (none) Checked for firmware update (none) Formatted the SD Sent an email to Kasa

Is there something I forgot to try? Any new suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

Love Kasa, hate Alexa+

Has anyone had issues with Alexa+ controlling Kasa plugs? She has automatically upgraded to Alexa+ twice this year and each time we lose our ability to turn things on and off. We “fixed” it by downgrading to original Alexa but at some point, Amazon isn’t going to let us do that anymore.

How did you get your plugs to work?

Want a unified smart switch system..

I am trying to unify my system (or do I just buy different brands and control everything through Google Home).

My new (to me) house has ceiling fans with lights in all the bedrooms, but the bedrooms only have a single gang box, I want to remote control them all.

Then my family room has a four way (three switches) for the main lighting in the room, I want to control those remotely too.

I have found TP Link Kasa that does the fans, but they fall short on the 4-way switch support. Conversely Lutron Caseta does the 4-way switch support using Picos, but does not have the unified fan/light combo.

HELP!! :)
