The Beastmen* Spoiler dont read*

After 30 hours of getting Platinum Trophy on hard mode, I'd like to say the game sort of gave me Tears of the Kingdom treatment. First 6-10hrs got me hooked, then I was getting tired of the old rinse n repeat formula with some pretty generic if not boring side quests. That aside, why did we never end up learning more about the Beastman's tribes? Where was their leaders/civilization? I know they were drawn to Magic but why where the Mao the only OP Beastman that cared for humanity? Why was Kaifried so jealous of the Kings old lady? Too many questions unanswered with a weird true ending. Was Fae the reason the time paradox sort of ended? Besides creating Fae how come Elliot never used his half Mao powers?

Big Ball Final Boss

So how do you destroy that big ball during the Demise fight? The one you can attack? Because I've tried with the hammer, the hardest hitting weapon, and it's not enough to destroy it in time.

Feature Request

**SPOILER**

I dont know where this post belongs. But i can't be the only one that grew up playing starfox and requires an option for inverted y-axis for flying sections. This section was torture for me. From an otherwise amazing experience I absolutely hated the controls here.

There's got to be a lot of people that play all FPS games this way though I know we are a minority. I can usually get used to standard y-axis if the whole game consistently asks me to do it. But i had to get used to it on the fly for the most important part of the game.

I dont even know where you would put this setting because it doesn't fit the global controls well. But im sure someone smarter than me can find a clever place to add it in.

I stuck on this quest. Can anybody help?

Can anybody tell me what to do with this quest? I am stuck now

  1. I am in the Age of Magic with no fast travel

  2. There is no red flag guideline of what to do at the Age of Magic

  3. The memories so far makes me feel fustrated and really confused of what to do as there are no guidelines and and there are so many things to do with in the time loop.

  4. The walkthrough that I have found so far for this game doesn't help me much the progression of the game so far.

  5. From the last post that people ask about the memories after I post the picture there is no answer. So I decided to post the second focus on this problem alone

  6. Please kindly reply the topic because I still want to play the game.

  7. By the way, I just finished explore the forest ruin in the world of magic

Not sure if unpopular opinion?

I only just reached the >!Age of Budding!< so feel free to correct me if things changes later on

I feel like this game would have been better off not having time travel to different ages of the same piece of land if nothing significant changes visually.

Worst being most plot dungeons is only useful in only one of the ages, if it's not it's a nothingburger dungeon with a magicite that will probably auto-dissasembled into a magicite fragment.

Other than the discovering of the lineages, there really isn't the need to have different ages to travel to. Each zone could have been a different part of a huge world, and at least each dungeon won't have useless versions in different ages.

Help! How to I progress the true ending?

I saved Mao’s family/sent them through the door of time and triggered the cutscene where she loses it and an explosion happens in the northern tower. I haven’t looked up anything for this game yet but I couldn’t figure out what the heck to do. All the guides I’ve seen online are telling me that Mao is supposed to be in front of her house in the age of reconstruction now, but she just isn’t there for me and I don’t know why.

I triggered a cutscene in the age of magic where Ikarus gets carried past me in a stretcher.

I’ve got 47 cats. I found the sages, I have all the 3 star weapons, I’m only missing 3 shards of life. I’ve been to the main village in ever era and spoken with every npc. How do I get Mao to appear where she’s supposed to be? Did I skip something small and random that triggers it?

I stuck between two worlds. I can't go any further

I stuck between two worlds. I accidently run back when I got to the age of magic. I didn't progress further to unlock the new loop. Now I cannot end the game. Not even the bad ending. There are also no red flag quest in the game anymore. I am lost now. Do I need to replay the game?

Stuck trying to get True Ending, bugged?

Hey guys, so I have done all the quests leading up to when Maõ is healed by the doctor in the Age of Reconstruction and I watched her flee the village from the north exit. But now I don't have any indication of how to proceed. I know you are supposed to go back to Age of Safekeeping and get the pendant from princesses room but nothing happens when I go back to the castle. Did I somehow miss something important after Maô flees the village after being healed? Please help 🙏

No Spoiler Review (True Ending Experience)

I'll try this again, hopefully this promotional art will not get flagged as a spoiler because it shows a character that appears later. Makes no sense to me on my first attempt at posting getting a spoiler flag earlier but whatever I'm not posting anything else in this group after this because it's been nothing but a hassle participating in this group.

Hello everyone,

I just wrapped up my thirteen hour journey in TAE: Millennium Tales and I just wanted to briefly express my conclusion for the game.

I finished on Normal after mainly playing on Hard and defeating bosses on Very Hard.

I switched to Normal at the end because the final boss had a lot of health that I wasn't patient enough to grind through.

Here's a simple Pros and Cons list.

Pros:

  1. Level Design

  2. Music

  3. First Half of the Boss Roster

  4. True Final Boss Presentation

  5. Parrying Implementation

Cons:

  1. Lack of Combat Variety and Importance

  2. Difficulty Settings & Organic Difficulty

  3. Fairy Character, Back Seat Talking

  4. Story Exposition Amount

  5. Amount of Boss Projectiles and AOEs

Thanks for reading and I'll answer any questions about my praises and concerns.

What carries over in NG+ ?

Just beat the game today on Normal and had a pretty good time, was considering doing it again down the line but I wanted to know what was carried over in NG+.

Are weapons and magicite carried over? Sidequests rewards? Fragments and Tul? Just wanted a general idea as I'm away from the game at the moment. Also can I just start it on Very Hard from the get go? Thanks.

Ignite Lesson, All Records, Perfect Run

A short guide for getting all the records in the Magic Lession for Ignite.
This is also a perfect run, which was NOT easy by any means, but it should make it easier for people struggling to get through this with at least an S.

The main trick to this trial is using the Come Back command at the right time, and sometimes timing the Bonus flowers correctly. In one example i got the flower as late as possible to get an extra two points.

The rest is just figuring out patterns, and trying your best to get the gold flowers and as many points as possible.

The last minute is super hectic and frankly sometimes the flashing hurts my eyes, its rough.

Ok real talk though this was HARD, it took me a whole day of attempts, getting SSS rank at 8500 points is very doable if you can do the initial rapid fire and the last 30 seconds, but getting perfect is very tough in that last minute.

So general thoughts after beating the game ..

Prepare to hate me. It was a good game .. but not great, not fantastic and not totally what I thought. I liked the magicite, it allowed for a variety of fun combat set ups but I wish there was like at least one more upgrade to your box because i'd want at least one more good ability.

The story was ok. Elliot is .. not the sort of character I hoped for. He's like a solid 7 out of 10, but I think his design is a 9 out of 10 and was hoping the man rocking the cape and earrings would be a little more personable. Like Euygene basically hints to the king that Elliot has a weird trait or idiosyncracy but from what I saw we don't ever see that. He's not particularly clever or witty. BUT I did like his perseverance in the face of danger.

I didn't like the caveat that Faie can revive Elliot whenever she wants. Narratively AND to an extent gameplay wise, its a cheat code for nothing to endanger him.

I liked a couple of quests in the game. Particularly ALL of the quests in route to the true ending. I liked the fact that running around could get you lore like finding out director fausta made the moon mirror. I also as mentioned in my other topic particularly liked the Kaifried related quests albeit I don't buy the game selling him as him wanting what was best for the kingdom when a war to usurp the throne would've cost several lives.

I liked the boss fights and enemies but they didnt have enough variety imo.

I also LIKED the plot twist with discovering Elliot's parents. Did not see it coming whatsoever. 90% of the best story and characters were from the true ending. Both of the quests involving Elliot's parents were really good. The quests to tie up the two leaders stories in the age of budding was good as well. Its just like they saved the best for last (barring Kaifried). The other quests storywise were just 'well .. this was ok'. LOVED the rewards tho. Liked Faie's powers, the accessories and I was OP with Elliot by the end due to getting the ultimate sword/fighting spirit.

Overall good game, but considering who it came from (The immaculate makers of OT) I did expect more. Guess ill be getting OT 0 next. Bonus edit: I also hate the powerscaling. When Kaifried gets the Leytstaf sword and Elliot gets resurrected he basically implies to the king that no matter the army they send to fight Kaifried, they'd lose. BUT then Elliot gets an equally powerful item in the moon mirror (so much so that he beats Kaifried). but gets overwhelmed in a lot of story scenes/side quests. I.E. When trying to protect his dad and himself as a child. and being forced to retreat.

Dear JRPG creators... Your games doesn't need a bad ending to be a masterpiece!

I am sooooo glad the game has a perfect good ending instead of following the classic JRPG pattern "we need a bad ending for the game to be memorable". This is 10/10 game imo!
