Guess Who No Can Policy?

Look, this is extremely strange, but I’m seeing them at Fiddler’s Green in Colorado right now, and I was told by security that the artists have a no can policy. All the beers in the 100 level section are being transferred to plastic cups by security. I am not joking. I was also told I couldn’t drink from a water bottle. Has anyone else experienced this? Extremely weird, I know.

Barry Allen, Barry Allen

12" Got this from my friends mother's collection. She didn't take care of her albums. Many are missing the dust covers. This is filthy, but looks like it will clean up. She put stickers on the covers with date, & price. This one is produced by Randy Bachman. Canadian artist. I like the UNI label. Sample copy on the back cover.

The Guess Who and The Doors

I always thought The Guess Who and The Doors had some similarities and wondered if they had any interaction back in the day. Well, I saw The Guess Who a month ago in Boston and Burton Cummings was wearing a Doors shirt and a Waiting for the Sun jacket. They also jammed on Roadhouse Blues during the song American Woman. It was fire🔥

The Guess Who concert in Atlanta last night.

I spent my rent money on great tickets, orchestra center, at Synovus Amphitheater (Chastain Park). This is a once in a lifetime experience. It was an easy decision. You have no idea how much I love these guys. I spent the day jamming out to their tunes. I was so excited!!!

I am a senior citizen. I don’t like crowds and never go to concerts. I Love The Guess Who. I had tickets to see them in September, 2001. It was a couple days past 9/11. I did not go. I was devastated by the attack.

Last night, we sat in a lightening storm, on metal seats, waiting for the concert to start. We got to see Don Felder do a few songs to open. Then, we sat there. At nearly 10:00, they announced that the storms were not going to pass and literally ordered everyone to evacuate.

This venue is in the middle of an upscale, residential neighborhood. They must stop performing at 11:00 pm.

They are saying the concert wasn’t canceled. So, no refund.

How is that even possible? Even if we had left the venue, got back in line and went right back to our seats, they could not have started before 11:00.

I thought, okay, I’ll put off the rent, pay the late fees and have a great time that I will remember for the few years I have remaining.

I would travel to see them, like the world’s oldest groupie. But, nobody is picking up old lady hitchhikers these days. 😢
