Sponsored advert income / nft sales proceeds / mashit royalties - Two advert payments are incoming now. What do we do with it? And how does it affect our community?
Just felt like it was time for a reminder, since we've picked up a few adverts again.
All the revenue from advert sales (and mashit royalties) goes back into the project. It helps to ensure we have some funds to make this place as fun as possible.
So - what happens with it?
Buying Eth to improve our token LPs
Token buybacks to stabilise or improve token prices
Mashit purchases to provide prizes for competitions
Gas for our Telegram bot on-chain actions
Everything else is currently paid by us personally. That includes hosting fees for bots etc. Our Telegram bot is currently consuming quite a lot of Pol for gas, as an example, 😂.
Nothing has ever left this project, and nobody running this show profits personally from any sales or commission that we engage in. It all goes to a multi-sig treasury that is actually holding many tokens, like shrooms, kraw, usdc, Pol - we are building this up to secure the funding and improvements for the future.
Fyi - adverts cost $15 - and we post them all over Reddit, Twitter, Farcaster and relevant Telegram groups. Our long term advertising partners get a 33% discount and pay $10. I personally take a lot of time to do the promotions properly - I'll engage with anyone, anywhere - in any way that the advertiser wishes. (I enjoy this bit!)

Can you find advertisers for us? Put them in touch with me - I'm very accommodating to requests and tiny details.
Please make the effort to buy the news nfts - it is our main thing, and we sell them SO cheaply.
If we are advertising a TNB related mashi - please consider grabbing one.
Please spread the word on Reddit (and other socials) with crossposts to relevant communities etc.
Just talk positively about us when you can.
If you are willing to LP and bank some fees, it makes it less necessary for us to do it with project funds.
Fully aware that this is not memecoin or nft season and the cycle went a bit weird this time. Personally, I think it's accumulation time for crypto.
