The Cooky Book

We just had a cookie-themed party, and I did a couple of family favorites from this book. It’s a facsimile edition of the book my mother-in-law used when my husband was growing up. The chocolate crinkles are a favorite of his, and one of my kids loves the lemon snowdrops.

The book is kind of old school (not surprising), with cookies that are smaller and not as rich, sweet, and elaborate as some newer cookbooks.
