70s Betty Crocker recipe card library.

Hi, back with my collection of vintage recipe card library. This is my Betty Crocker recipe card library from 1971. Very interesting stuff. Before you say anything this is of its era and as a result some stuff some people might find offensive and sexist but again it is of its era. hopefully this doesn’t get taken down. If so it’s totally understandable. This is strictly sharing vintage recipes.

Betty Crocker Outdoor Cookbook

I got this amazingly quality copy of the Outdoor Cookbook. It is the first edition second printing.

Anyone have this? Have you cooked out of it?

Foods Men Like and Cakes Kids Love

There are several editions of these little books and several other topics, too. I just grabbed the first two things out of my box of small Betty books. These are the 1976 editions, but they were first published in 1969.

I swear I remember my mom making my brother a giraffe cake when he turned two or three. That would have been 1977 or 78, so the timing is right!

dont mind the presentation. modified brown eyed susan cake with chocolate butter icing! betty crockers picture cook book, 1950

i omitted the flavoring extracts, only did chocolate and vanilla, and (poorly, lol) marbled it rather than leave it as dollops. my first time trying this recipe, and i love it! tastes like boxed cake mix :-) not too sweet, so we are all enjoying it for a late mothers day breakfast.
