Magpul AFGlock foregrip? 🤷

Borrowed a janky wooden vice grip for AR uppers... It became immediately apparent there was movement so stopped without even a quarter turn of the wrench, but that movement was already a game over moment 😩

Emailed Tippmann and my local distributor, but not got high hopes for my wallet or if I can even buy a new upper?

These situations are WAY worse when you know it's your own fault too, so don't be like me... Do what smart people do and wait until you have all (proper!) tools and equipment at hand before fucking with perfectly good things... Especially if it's the most fun rifle in your meagre collection 😑

I shot these groups on Sunday at 50 yards with my M4-22 Elite Tactical.

The ammo was Eley Semiauto Benchrest Precision.

I'm feeling pretty confident that it will shoot consistently under 3/4" at 50, if I use the right ammo and do my part.

I am pretty happy with that from a stock semiauto!

The steel was ruining the vibe.

I finally got to spend some quality time with my new M4. All stock, except:

Rise Armament trigger (an old one I had laying around - it's not great, but it's better than the stock trigger)

GPO 4-16x44i FFP MRAD Super Compact scope

UTG Over Bore bipod

This rifle likes Eley Precision Bench Rest ammo pretty well, I'd say.

It was not as fond of SK Rifle Match.

It really did not like CCI Standard Velocity.

I scored only 1 less point with CCI than with the SK, but the shots were all over the place. The SK was way more consistent. When shooting for groups, the SK grouped close to as well as the Eley and the CCI was printing much bigger groups.

These targets were all shot from prone at 50 yards. The 10 ring in the middle of each bullseye is 0.20" (-ish) in diameter.

Just got an m4-22 from a mate. Making the switch from the Smith n wesson 15/22.

Built it up with a surefire and eotech etc. also has a surefire flash hider but its slightly obscured in this pic by the torch

Has anyone used UTG parts in their Tippmann M4-22? This is all thats available in New Zealand unfortunately. Do they fit/need modification?

Very keen on the bolt release and ambidextrous controls given I'm a dirty old left hander.
