TokyoTreat is genuinely starting to feel like a scam.

I ordered my first box well over a month ago and according to both USPS and the tracking site TokyoTreat provided, it still hasn’t even properly shipped. I contacted customer support, waited forever for a response, got told they’d “investigate it,” and then got completely ignored again for over a week afterward.

To make things even worse, because I didn’t catch it in time, the subscription renewed for another box. It’s now been over 20 days since that order too, and that one ALSO hasn’t shipped.

At this point I’ve paid for two boxes and have absolutely nothing to show for it besides delayed responses and vague support messages. I figured I’d post this here so other people can be careful before subscribing.

I did 3 month subscription for Sakuraco. Got the March box and just received May box. Never got April box. Messaged customer service 2 weeks ago and no response. The only way to deal with this is by disputing the charge with the bank? Anyone has other suggestions?

You try to buy a cool Christmas gift for your niece and they go rouge.

Bought an annual subscription for over 500$. My niece received a box every month but a year later in December they auto- renewed me and would not allow me to cancel.

I have received zero boxes this year because I disputed on my credit card yet they refuse to refund my money. They are offering Only a coupon or they will send me more boxes. I DONT WANT ANYTHING except my money.

Is this going to go on forever. Will I ever get out from underneath this. Will I have to cancel my credit card this December so I am not charged every year for the rest of my life.

STEAR CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

I have been to Japan several times. The company does not follow the rules of good Japanese behavior.
