Topo Backpack for 1st Grader

Anyone have thoughts on if there’s a pack that they feel would work well for a 1st grader? The Rover Mini looks nice, but I can’t see how to send a water bottle with him other than sticking it in the main compartment.

Any suggestions?

What’s the best long weekend road trip you’ve ever taken?

I recently did a 5 day and 4 night road trip. Denver > Zion > Vegas (Sphere) > Moab > Denver. The entire trip, I kept thinking about how lucky I am to live somewhere that makes adventures like this so accessible. Excuse my poor photography. Any guesses on what Sphere show I am at in slide 3?
